الشيخ محمد تقي الذاكري، ممثل المرجعية الشيعية في نشر ثقافة اللاعنف، ولد عام 1957 في كربلاء المقدسة، ودرس في مدارس حفَّاظ القرآن الكريم. هاجر إلى إيران عام 1971 واستقر في مدينة قم المقدسة حيث الحوزة العلمية ليكمل دراسته في الفقه، والحديث، والعلوم السياسية. التزم بوكالة مراجع التقليد الشيعة منذ عام 1979 م في طهران تابع من خلالها نشر ثقافة اللاعنف.
ثم غادر إيران عام 1981 ليستقر في لبنان حيث اشتغل في المجالين الثقافي والسياسي.
أشرف على تحقيق وطباعة موسوعة الفقه للمرجع الديني الأعلى الإمام الشيرازي(قدس سره) في طبعتها الثانية.
يمتلك اضافة الى شهادتي الماجستير والدكتوراه في علم النفس إجازات عديدة من العلماء في الرواية مع وكالات في الأمور الحسبية من عدد من مشاهير مراجع التقليد في إيران والعراق والكويت.
