The updates they made this year seem solid so far. Did a public draft on the first day it was released without any issues. Hope the original GL is back in its former glory.

I love the league in the concept, but the app is in need of some major upgrades. The projections are constantly off and do not update during live gameplay. No matter what quarter the game is actually in the app shows that the game being played is in the fourth quarter. Whenever I click on the app, it constantly makes me sign back into my league and 50% of the time it takes me through a four step tutorial about the league as if it is my first time ever signing in. The league rules are difficult to find and should be clearly displayed in the league settings. The app was very slow during the draft process and even though I was attempting to draft players 15 seconds before my time expired, the draft would not respond and allow me to select players therefore I was forced to Auto draft players that I did not want. The timing of the bidding and waiver selections should be more consistent. The cutoff time is 3 PM but sometimes the player auditions show up within 30 minutes sometimes it takes up to two hours for them to be reflected in the lineups. Overall, I love the league and this is my favorite fantasy football experience I just wish the app was a little bit more user-friendly.

Update # 2: now waivers don’t work after last update. These devs are unmatched in low level skills. Complete garbage once again. Update: Still absolute trash. In doubt they will ever again have money leagues as the app is so awful that there most likely would be litigation involved at this point. Matthew Berry should be ashamed to have his name associated with it. Absolute garbage. Keeps getting worse somehow with every update. Not going in any more detail on the app itself, it’s just plain terrible, will be using a different one next season as I suspect most will. Now onto the even worse part. Nearly 300 reviews of 1 star should tell you all you need to know. Last year there were a multitude of contests most every week that were paid contests where the players paid a fee to get into a league with a chance to win$. Now there seem to be very few of these (this week so far there are none), only free leagues. Free leagues are fine but the majority of players I would think want to play for cash, even if it is a small amount, it’s still adds some spice to the game that free leagues just don’t do. The other oddity here is that the current owners of this platform seem to have venture capital money involved (maybe I am wrong about that?) and VCs typically want return on their investment. If no one‘s paying for these leagues because they are all freebies going forward, I’m not sure where they’re getting their return unless it’s via some type of advertising. Just a bizarre set up overall for this app.
