Getting a notification when something happens should not require building an app, a Firebase project, and a backend. Hook.Notifier is the last mile: you get a personal URL, you call it from anything that can make an HTTP request, and a real native notification lands on your iPhone.
One HTTP request. A notification on your phone. That is the whole thing, and it is free.
WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH IT
Send yourself a push from a shell script, a cron job, a webhook (Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Supabase), a Zapier or Make automation, a monitoring tool like Uptime Kuma or Grafana, or a few lines of code in any language. If it can make an HTTP request, it can notify you.
• Get pinged when a payment fails, a build breaks, a server goes down, a form is submitted, or a new order comes in.
• Know the moment a cron job finishes, a backup completes, or a container stops.
• Turn any webhook into a phone notification without a middleman.
BUILT FOR REAL USE
• Priorities: low, normal, high, critical. Critical is delivered as time-sensitive so real incidents still reach you.
• Quiet hours: silence normal notifications on your schedule, let the urgent ones through.
• Tags: colored folders to route and filter your notifications, with per-tag mute.
• A real inbox: your notifications are kept, searchable, and organized, not just fired and forgotten.
• Scheduled delivery: send now, or in 10 minutes, or at an exact time, up to three days ahead.
• Updates in place: a long job can be one notification that goes from "running" to "done" instead of a pile of pings.
• Markdown, images, and up to three action buttons on a notification.
• Named hooks: a dedicated, revocable URL per source, each with its own defaults, so you can cut one off without touching the others.
• Team sharing: notify everyone on your team at once.
• Multi-device: receive on every device you sign in on.
