The PIN screens have received a major UI and UX overhaul. PINs are no longer presented with individual PIN input fields that allow the user to easily see the length of the demanded PIN code. Hungarian has been added to the default translations provided by the Access App. The Access App contains the privacy manifest file required for Apple App Store publications since 1 May 2024.

This patch release provides significant speed and performance improvements for the Access App which is especially noticeable on older iPhone devices. In addition, the installation size of the Access App has also been reduced significantly.

To be platform aligned, we fixed the Confirm button to be always enabled on the PIN verification screen. We improved the loading speed when opening the Access App and the QR Scanner screen. We changed the date format to dd MMM yyyy HH:mm:ss when generating the default Device Name for account registration to be platform aligned.

The Access App does not show the Face ID opt-out screen if it was preceded by the authentication method selection screen. The Access App no longer supports third party keyboards. This is a security improvement to prevent key-logging. We re-enabled the automatic clean-up process (taking place at the first launch of the application) which has been disabled in the version 2.6.2.

The patch release disables the iOS app cleanup feature.

Hotfix We fixed an issue in the TLS handshake where depending on the server configuration the client did not correctly forward Truststore certificate information. This hotfix addresses app-update issues found with iOS15 which lead to the device-local credentials being deleted after opening the app.
