Downloaded this app as a replacement for the previous DeckForger app, which I very much liked. I quickly forgot all about Deckforger. This is a fantastic and easy to use app that is perfect for constructing decks, be they traditional 60 card builds or 100 card EDH format. It’s fast, fluid and intuitive to either build from scratch or import an already existing deck for tinkering. Little touches and flourishes abound, and are a marked improvement over the already well implemented Deckforger. With an interface that’s promised to become ever more streamlined in future updates, coupled with a polished and inclusive UI, this will only improve yet more over time. I cannot recommend this app enough for those with a passion for deck building.
Just catalogued my bulk, but now I have to do it again due to some bugs

When this app works, it’s incredible. I love being able to immediately sort through my bulk to know whether or not I have a card that I have in mind to use in a new deck or simply to give to a friend. Initially I found the scanning feature really helpful! I got through about 1,200 cards in just a few nights. But it wasn’t until about a week later when I bought some boosters and wanted to log them where I found a really, REALLY impactful bug. If you use the scan feature, sometimes it won’t recognize the card and it will have you enter it in manually, and there generally isn’t a problem with it. But as soon as you have to manually enter a second card, it will still show that it was added but it actually gets rid of ALL manually-entered cards from the scanning session. Now I have no idea which cards I’m missing from my library, even after sorting through every one individually. Also, another random thing, but Maarika, Brutal Gladiator only shows up as Zangief, the Red Cyclone from the Street Fighter x Secret Lair. Other than that issue, it’s a solid app. But unfortunately the issue is big enough that I have to give this only two stars. If a feature doesn’t work correctly, don’t include it.
Almost there...

I’m not gonna go deep into various detail because it looks like the review from “seems good so far“ covered a lot of crucial points. I think the list that you can follow it is pretty cool with the fetches in the shocks and etc. A big problem I see is I don’t see a way to copy your decks. you had it on the referring app but you don’t seem to have it on this app. So I finish transferring all my decks over to cascade and then when I went to copy them to put them online, no option. And the auto populate should populate all things with that word not just with that word as the first word in the cards name. And inability to copy my decks or the deck copying auto including the set without it being optional I’ve always been the reasons why I don’t stick with MTG apps. I also noticed on your break down section of the deck the card type wheel being various tones of green becomes difficult for color blind people. And I find that there is not enough contrast in the the top header buttons that sometimes I have to squint or stare to differentiate.Otherwise I think you’ve got a kill around before I realize the copy deck list problem I had already decided that this would be my primary deck building for storage MTG app for my phone. Those few things mentioned and I think you have it for five star appEdit: when i said “copy deck” my meaning was to copy my deck list to share or to put on a clipboard with an optional annotation of set. The same as how I could share from deck forger to cascade.

Hey Vernon,There is actually a Copy Deck feature. In the Deck detail screen, tap the hamburger icon on the top right and it should be an option on the action sheet. Thanks for the feedback regarding the colorblind issues on the deck statistics page. This is something we've thought about implementing but haven't gotten to yet. It is in our backlog and will be an upcoming improvement soon. We're working hard to include a lot of new features and improvements to existing screens. Your feedback is extremely valuable as it helps us prioritize our long list of pending tasks. So once again, thank you for voicing your opinion! To stay up to date with the latest features and planned changes, follow us on Twitter @CascadeMTG. Thank you!- Gabe
My Main Deck Building App

The app has a lot of good features at the free version for sure. The card scan feature is nice, but it does have issues with some older frame cards and the occasional artifact, though recently it seems to have improved. In addition, adding cards manually has been made much faster. One thing that stands out to me is that it appears some subtypes may be missing from the search feature. The only one that I stumbled upon was Dog not showing up in app, but I don’t know if there are others. I can still search for dog cards by name though. Other than that, I’m enjoying all the features and look forward to future improvements.

Hey Richard 99999, Thanks for the review! Your feedback is truly appreciated. We have plans to optimize the manual card-adding flow, so you should see some improvements there soon. Your feedback regarding the scanning and search while typing is also valuable so we've added those items to our backlog. Thanks a lot for using the app and voicing your opinion! To stay up to date with the latest features and planned changes, follow us on Twitter @CascadeMTG. Thank you!- Gabe
