World of War Machines 12+

This is a very immersive game with lots of different gameplay elements. It is a base builder where you have to unlock, build, and upgrade various buildings to give access to new units or game play options. It is a resource gathering game. It has PvE and PvP modes of battle. The Alliance system within the game is functional because there are Alliance events that can only be done with other players. This makes Alliances necessary and useful, not just a social vehicle. The setting is World War II and as a WWII buff I love the historical aspects of the game as well. All in all, a great game to play on many levels.

Overall, the most addictive phone game i have found. Very multifaceted, fun minigames, actually takes strategy. Easy to get established, but hard to reach the high levels. After 25 which is easy obtainable in a few weeks, you hit a paywall. Progress slows waaaay down with ever increasing need for hard to obtain Superior resources. Unless you have a deep wallet that is. I’ve managed to survive due to planning around the occasional store sales but it’s near impossible to keep up with the big dogs.

If you choose not to pay, after you hit the paywall you can expect to be continually farmed for resources by others because it takes so long to convert regular resources into superior resources. Eventually you run out of peace shields and you get zeroed repeatedly. This leads to massive server die-off as frustration builds and people quit. Alliances become ghost towns and there is no one to fight.

Also there is the paywall for the PvE content. You can’t advance unless you get an outrageous Amount of legendary command tanks to increase their star rank. The list could go on…

Yes as I stated it’s a great game but it sill has problems like you need to have app tracking in order to watch adds to double your prizes and sometimes you can’t load in but overall it’s a great game
