The app does the basics but can be a bit frustrating as some tasks that should be easier are still complicated. Like transferring out of the Thara’a account is unnecessarily difficult.

Not smooth digital onboarding

Although advertised as 5 minutes journey to open the account, it took 9 days in my case. And after received the SMS confirmation that my bank account was created, I am unable to access the digital platform without going through the ekyc process again. I keep receiving a screen that says that they are validating my identity (even after the account creation). The live chat service have no clue how to address this and they left the chat without responding to my texts. Apparently I will have to visit the branch which defeats the whole point of digital banking !!!

A tech disaster

Not all features on this are activated. Requires individual customer service calls to activate features that should be fully functional. Why have an app with features that are not already accessible to customers? Have called three times to resolve the same tech issue and it’s still not resolved. I get the impression the IT dept is as lost as I am with this app.
