Don't fear, StudyBuddy is here! StudyBuddy is a realtime social application centered around the student's school and given course. The user first enters their school of choice and selects up to 5 courses/subjects that they are currently studying.
StudyBuddy curates a list of all the students studying the same subject as well as the full list of students studying at the given school for the current user to interact with. A student can view another student's profile and can directly message them in real-time.
Through the messaging feature, the given student may suggest a study location/meetup spot through the app's built in location picker.

I’m a new student transferring to a four year college and was worried about making connections/study buddies in my classes because of the crazy changes during COVID. All my lectures have been on Zoom and have felt extremely detached. Getting this app and being able to add my school and my specific classes to talk to my peers have just been game changing. I can ask questions, send attachments and get feedback quickly with an app that feels like a very user friendly messaging one. If you’re in the same boat or just wanna grow your school network, you HAVE to give it a try.

I’d recommend this app for anyone who wants to meet more people in their classes and major. I recently started college and I didn’t know anyone. I used this app to meet people in my major and make connections with them. Now I even have a dedicated study group from people I’ve met on here which is really nice because it’s really hard to meet people with COVID going on. You can search for both people in your school and people who are in your classes. The design is really intuitive and clean, you can even message people from within the app.

Absolutely love the app so far. I’ve used it once already and was able to find someone for my chem class. I just transferred to my school so it made it so much easier to connect with others ESPECIALLY since covid. Through this app, I’ve made connections with classmates and found a study group (all on zoom of course). Highly recommend this app if you’re transferring/starting a new semester.

I love how user friendly the process is from start to finish. All the way from setting up my account to accessing my school and class subject. It usually takes me time to adjust to new apps but this one was seamless. I also enjoyed the feature where I’m able to send and receive attachments and send messages back and forth. Loved it !
* Stability and bug fixes
- Fixed bug that would sometimes delete a conversation upon new message(s) arrival.
- Fixed bug that would sometimes not show all the users for a given course/school.
- Fixed bug that would not place most recently received message at the top.
- Fixed bug that would very rarely still allow users to message a blocked user.
- On forgot password reset, added prompt in case an invalid email was given.
