- Aco Apache Ultrasound System consists of two components: the Aco Apache ultrasound probe and the Aco Apache Ultrasound App. The system is intended for general diagnostic ultrasound imaging and fluid flow analysis.
Aco Apache Ultrasound App is a software application on an off-the shelf mobile phone or tablet to be used with an Aco Apache Ultrasound probe. The App is intended for general diagnostic ultrasound imaging and fluid flow analysis. - Safety Information
- App Version:
Make sure you have the latest version of the Aco Apache App. Some sections of this User Manual may not apply to earlier versions of the Aco Apache Ultrasound Scanner.
Device Specifications & App Compatibility:
Using the Apache App on a device below the minimum specifications may result in poor image quality, unexpected results, and possible misdiagnosis. Please be noted pop-up or toast messages will be displayed on the screen during diagnostic procedure.
Data Security:
Highly recommend that you encrypt your device and lock its screen by setting up a password or PIN code to protect patient information and meet regulatory requirements and your medical institution's security policies. Prevent unauthorized access to patient information. When you finish using the system, you can press the screen lock control On/Off on the mobile device or you can simply power the system off. Regularly data exportation is required to keep your exam data secured once if the mobile device storage is corrupted.
Wireless Network:
Using untrusted wireless access points may allow malicious parties to see your Wi-Fi signal, perform harmful operations, and view the communication between the mobile device and the probe. Please always use the Apache App to connect and operate the Apache probe. To avoid the new risks to patients, operators, and third parties, we recommend to control and evaluate the risk when changing the network setting, connecting to unknown access points and upgrading new or existing equipment.
