Paid for the year. Used it for 3 minutes. Works very poorly. Removed app. Would not refund me and said my subscription would cancel in a year. So I reinstalled it and it (might as well if I can't get a refund) will not reinstall without asking me to sign up again. When I try to sign up again it says I already have a subscription. This is a very poorly coded app. Don't buy it.

When the trial option is selected, nothing is charged during those 3 days, and Apple shows this clearly right before you confirm the purchase ✅ Subscriptions, trials and refunds are handled entirely by Apple. A refund can be requested directly from Apple, which is usually quick. Since your review, we've also released version 1.5.1 with real-time translations ⚡️ and many new features at no extra cost. It’ll drop AirPod connections , sometimes it’ll repeat to me what I said in English and not translate to the the other person , sometimes it’ll repeat what the other language said in their native language and not translate it , also it would be great if it worked if your iPhone locks as I have to constantly unlock and reconnect

Tens of thousands of users use AirTranslator successfully in their conversations, so we're confident we can solve this together.In Live mode, the iPhone's microphone listens to both of you and recognizes who is speaking by their language. If a voice doesn't reach it clearly, the app can't switch correctly, which leads to exactly what you describe: English or the other language coming back untranslated. Please place the iPhone between the two of you.About locking: AirTranslator keeps the screen awake on its own, so it stays ready as long as the iPhone isn't locked. Once it is locked, the microphone stops listening and the live session ends, which is why you had to reconnect each time. Thank you for the suggestion, we've noted it and will release an option in an upcoming update! Just email us from within the app with the languages you're translating, and we'll gladly help. 3 day trial is fake. These crooks are fraud through and through. The app is horrible and if you cancel, even within the first hour, there is no refund available. This looks and acts like a fraud app.Update: The developer has asked me to update my review. So here it is. They are very deceptive and I would never trust them or any apps they market.

"3 day trial is fake": the 3-day free trial is an official App Store introductory offer on the weekly plan. Apple shows the selected plan, the trial and the exact amount on its purchase sheet, and nothing goes through until the user confirms it. "If you cancel, even within the first hour, there is no refund available": during the trial nothing is charged at all, and the trial can be cancelled at any time.
