Something great is coming in Verinote '23, so we've put some code under the hood in preparation for our major release due soon. You spoke, we listened, and then - we delivered on every feature request to date. We cannot wait until Verinote '23. In the meantime, enjoy some minor stability and performance improvements and for some enterprise customers, a better onboarding process through Altia.Identity.

This update contains general stability and reliability improvements, including: - A fix to the 'date picker' functionality. - A better user onboarding process, with users requested to provide permission (if agreed) to all required services used by Verinote (location, biometrics, microphone and camera) on first use. - Enhanced behaviour when making voice recordings, removing the ability to discard a made (but not yet saved) recording without warning.

This update contains general stability and reliability improvements, and the following new features: - A visual indicator that attachments (recordings and photographs) have been successfully captured when creating a new entry. - An ability to 'pull down' to refresh the Verinote mobile application, to sync entries or update the home screen. - A better user experience when capturing signatures for signed entries after reports that some users were having difficulty signing notes of a certain length.

Based on user feedback, we have added the following features: - The ability to digitally sign an entry, version or witness statement in the Verinote mobile application. - The ability to gesture swipe between days for a more familiar navigation in the Verinote mobile application. - The addition of a Shortcut to allow users to more safely add a 'Quick Note' right from their home screen with the press of one button, rather than having to open the Verinote mobile application, authenticate and create an entry; during times where it is often mission critical. We have redesigned the menu for a better user experience. We have also increased the scope of supervision, live monitoring and enhanced the searching capabilities to allow for better intelligence and evidence discovery, in addition to increased major incident and disaster management. We have also added screen masking for security and privacy when switching between applications; fixed a bug which caused audio files to play through the earpiece rather than speaker; and reduced the file size of audio recordings to increase efficiency when uploading saved audio recordings. This is in addition to several general performance and security updates.

In this release, we have fixed several issues affecting the reliability of making entries while offline or in areas with limited internet connectivity; an issue which was requiring users to authenticate more often than required and added a 'data recovery' portal to ensure any un-synced notes can be restored and uploaded in the event of connectivity issues, as a fail safe. We have also added the ability to search records more broadly by street name, suburb, state and/or postcode (rather than exact address). Lastly, we have made some minor adjustments to how you change your mobile number from the 'Profile Page'. Previously, you would authenticate using a one-time passcode sent to your new mobile phone number. However, based on security assessment advice, this one-time passcode will be sent to your registered email address.

In this latest release, we have made several general stability and performance upgrades, including to offline use, mapping and minor user interface changes. Verinote 3.2 (mobile) also supports the major release of Verinote 3.2 desktop, which has seen major enhancements.
