Charging through AmbuEnergy’s app involves a few simple steps:

Load money onto your account,
Scan the QR code on an AE charging unit,
Plug in and charge your vehicle!
It crashed repeatedly, had a horrible UI (including critical text in light gray on a white background), an unnecessarily complex signup process with multiple security codes, and would not let me enter my address to add a credit card. I was only able to charge by adding funds via logging into their website and adding a card, then switching back to the app to start charging. I can only assume this app was created by an oil company to sabotage the electric car experience.

I usually don’t leave reviews but this one deserves. App useless and without it you can not use the charging station. It’s impossible to add funds to the account.Don’t even try.If they have this station nearby don’t count on it. It will not work!

There is no reason besides greed that a modern charging app needs to auto reload my card when the balance is less than $5. Just bill me what I use. Greedy MBAs designing a sub par system so they can get a bigger year end bonus. Go jump in a lake

Extremely expensive, annoying difficult to set up, constantly crashes, 1/5 charging experience
- See all your active charging sessions: sessions started from MyOpConnect or another phone now appear in the app, where you can follow and stop them.
- We've updated our Privacy Policy. You'll be asked to review and accept it the next time you open the app. A charge already in progress can still be viewed and stopped.
- Auto-Charge now confirms whether your vehicle paired, even after you leave the charging screen.
- Clear messages when you've reached the daily limit for adding payment cards or the maximum number of saved cards.
- Directions on a station's details page now opens Apple Maps or Google Maps.
- Bug fixes and stability improvements.
