Minor improvement to the search algorithm

Game Center fix Logic error fixed iOS 27 ready

The control of game pieces now works the same on macOS and iOS: Both versions support Drag & Drop, or you can tap a piece and then tap the target square. iPad now has its own layout for use in landscape mode.

Bugfix for International Checkers

8 different computer opponents for more finely tuned difficulty levels.

Small bugfix in Undo function

This is a major update! Dame 3.0 now runs with the new BitQueen engine. Compared to the old engine, it is lightning fast and allows for a much deeper search tree. However, for technical reasons, we had to drop Canadian Checkers (12x12 board). We have added a large opening book for Checkers and International Draughts. An endgame database was deliberately omitted because Dame 3.0 is not meant to become an unbeatable, perfectly playing digital monster. There are new designs. A marble and a glass design provide visual variety. The 2‑player mode now works not only locally, but also over the local network and even worldwide via Game Center. Make sure to agree on which rules you have set beforehand, otherwise your devices will not find each other over the network.

* Fine tuned game heuristics * Added Zobrist hashing to speed up certain calculations

* Ready for iOS 17! * Better visibility when moving a game piece

Updated for iOS16 Info button behavior changed

Support for new iPad Mini (6. Gen.)

Game was still in DEBUG mode by mistake. This is fixed now. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Bugfix in move generator

Big update to version 2.0! It is now possible to play International Checkers on a 10x10 board and the Canadian version on a 12x12 board. In addition, an extended set of rules has been implemented, so that there are many variation possibilities to adapt rules to your own wishes. For example, if you only have a small screen available, you can set the International Queen to be played on an 8x8 board. The AI has been changed a bit and adapted to the new conditions. Level 4 and 5 now work with a timer instead of a fixed game depth. A complete user manual has also been added as a help function, explaining all rule variations. Update 2.0 is a free update for all who already have the old version. Have fun playing!
