The Hazard3 Training App is a companion to risk-based response training offered by Hazard3 including on-site training, webinars, blended learning, and microlearning.
Hazard3 microlearning provides 5 minutes per day of training that meets and exceeds NFPA and OSHA standards. The Hazard3 Training App allows responders and investigators to access their training anytime, anywhere, including downloading training modules for off-line viewing.
Agencies can create a customized microlearning pathway for their personnel by hand-selecting micro-courses from multiple categories. The micro-courses on response equipment can be tailored to your team’s brand and model including SCBA, suits, detectors etc.
Main categories of training include:
• Containers including tank trucks, cylinders, bulk storage tanks, and rail cars
• Hazmat Tech and Ops Competencies that follow NFPA 472, 1072, and the new 470
• Incidents and lessons learned
• History: Hazmat, CBRN, and Clan labs
• Materials and Agents including chemicals, drugs, explosives, CWA, BWA, and diseases
• Clandestine Labs including drug labs, chem/bio production, and HME
• Equipment (Customised for each team including PPE, detection, mitigation, and rad)
• Emergency Response Decision Support System (ERDSS) software
• Strategy and Tactics including air monitoring, leak control, and more
• Management and Leadership including compliance, funding, and health/safety
