Although an autism diagnosis seems to be on the horizon for me these days, maybe dyslexia would also be worth looking into, considering that for years nearly 28 station names have been incorrectly listed in our database. This changes in Leszálló 3.10. • FIXED STATION NAMES: It would be embarrassing to even give an example, but despite living next to Batthyány tér for years, I still couldn't even spell that one correctly… Anyway, the important thing is that - with a few justified exceptions - from now on every station name in the Leszálló database will match the official version published by BKK. • BRANCH LINES REORGANIZED: Since Tram 1 and Tram 1A run along the same route, from now on we'll only keep Tram 1 as a separate line, while the route of the 1A branch line will be displayed under Tram 1 in the app. Exactly the same way we already do it with Tram 56, Tram 59, and many other tram lines. • TRAMS 12 AND 12A: And while we're talking about trams, we've also updated our database with the "new" Tram 12 and Tram 12A. Got an idea, or is there something you don't like? As always, you can reach us at [kapcsolat@leszallo.hu](mailto:kapcsolat@leszallo.hu). Hugs, and happy commuting until the next update!

This time we didn’t ship one big flashy feature, but a lot of small ones. Over the past few weeks we went through our to-do list and checked off pretty much everything. Well, not everything, we still have plenty of bigger ideas and plans, but we fixed and added a ton of small, almost invisible details to Leszálló 3.9. And honestly, that’s what makes us different. • VEHICLE FILTER: You can now filter nearby departures by vehicle type. Only care about metro and HÉV? Then that’s all you’ll see. Whatever you set in the app also applies to the widget. This is especially useful if you live near a metro line and only want to see metro departures at a glance. • SMALL WIDGET: We fixed the layout issues that made the small widget look a bit broken lately. It’s back in shape. • SHARED / SPLIT PLATFORM HELP: We’ve had a lot of new users recently, and some feedback that the “Split platform” vs “Shared platform” concept wasn’t very clear. So we added a help screen that better explains what’s going on. • MÁV+ MOBILE TICKET QUICK OPEN: We previously added a feature that lets you quickly jump from Leszálló into your selected mobile ticket app when an inspector suddenly appears out of nowhere. Now MÁV+ is also supported, so you can open it from the wallet icon in the top right. Just make sure you’ve selected your ticket app in settings first. And don’t worry, it will still happily show a loading animation for 5 minutes so you can admire their logo… • VOICEOVER IMPROVEMENTS: We know most of you don’t need it, but for those who do, it matters a lot. VoiceOver now reads something like: “Deák Ferenc tér. Metro line M3. Direction: Kőbánya-Kispest. Connections: M1 and M2.” instead of the old: “Deák Ferenc tér. Button. Transfer m1-m2.” If you have any accessibility needs and something doesn’t work for you, just email us at kapcsolat@leszallo.hu. We’re happy to improve things: VoiceOver, dynamic text size, Voice Control, Switch Control, because while we try to pay attention to these, we don’t use them daily, so there’s always room to improve. Also, we’re happy to give you a coupon for the Lift package if you can show that you need elevator support, whether that’s visual impairment, reduced mobility, being older, a broken leg, pregnancy, whatever. • APPLE WATCH LIVE ACTIVITY: We actually built some pretty cool Smart Stack Live Activities for Apple Watch, but after hours of trying, we couldn’t get them to work properly while still supporting iOS 16.1 and up. To make it work, we’d need to raise the minimum to iOS 18… mainly to stop myself from throwing my MacBook out the window. So for now, this isn’t in the app yet. That said, we are seriously considering moving forward and eventually dropping support for older devices (iPhone X, 8, 8 Plus, and earlier - basically ~10-year-old phones). If you’re on a newer iPhone, it might be time to update your iOS anyway. Right now we’re a bit stuck in the middle, we don’t want to hold back new features for Pro users, but we also don’t want to leave behind those still on older versions. On top of all this, we made a bunch of smaller improvements in the app, account handling, backend, and other things you won’t really notice directly. We’d also like to bring the Android version a bit closer, but don’t worry, we’ll be back with bigger updates soon. As always, you can reach us at kapcsolat@leszallo.hu.

We seem to have collectively shifted into a new dimension, but luckily Leszálló 3.8 is here to guide your journey there as well. • GRAMMAR FIXES: I’m getting strong Mandela effect vibes here, you know when you clearly remember something being one way, yet every piece of evidence insists otherwise. Anyway, shoutout to Kende (yes, an Android user, we’re just as surprised), who reviewed the app’s grammar. Based on his suggestions, we corrected a few stop names. Angyalsziget is now Angyalisziget, Lenfonógyár in Budakalász is simply Lenfonó, and Nagyice has evolved into Nagyicce. Also, the previously missing Kén utca stop on the H6 HÉV line has mysteriously appeared in the app. I’m telling you, I’m 100% convinced we jumped timelines, because in our previous universe, this stop did NOT exist. Not during mapping, not during coding, not during the millions of checks. It just wasn’t there. Maybe in that other universe, where Kén utca doesn’t exist, the orange party won the elections. Honestly, I’ll take Kén utca. Seems like a fair trade. • SHARED / SPLIT PLATFORM: We’ve received some feedback that the “Split platform” and “Shared platform” buttons are… not exactly intuitive. For now, we’re keeping things as they are, and maybe one day I’ll make a TikTok or add an in-app explanation for those who are confused. (Friendly reminder: go follow Leszálló on TikTok.) That said, you’re right about one thing: Metro line M1 only has split platforms, while M4 only has shared platforms, so the app now shows a fixed direction for these lines. Also, while we were at it, these buttons got a fresh new Liquid Glass look. What’s coming next? Tram 12A or an underpass map? Who knows… Place your bets. xoxo

We promised. We delivered. Come to think of it, we have a 100% success rate on that, so maybe we should run in the elections ourselves. Anyway, jokes aside, Leszálló 3.7 comes with a small but genuinely useful update: • TRAM TRANSFERS: As promised, starting today, transfer icons now appear next to the line indicators for trams as well. Find the stop you’re looking for more easily, or discover new transfer options! As always, if anything comes up: kapcsolat@leszallo.hu. Until then, xoxo.

More performance, more liquidity, and a smoother experience - whatever those even mean, the kind of things lazy app developers usually write here. Something along those lines is arriving at the platform with Leszálló 3.6 - which, by the way, was almost 4.0. • CONNECTIONS: Finally (again) the connection icons next to the line stripes are back on the app’s main screen. For now, you can see which other metro lines, HÉV lines, trains, regional or long-distance buses you can transfer to - currently available for metro and HÉV lines. Tram support is coming soon. • LIQUID PURPLE: We’ve added a subtle “Leszálló Purple” color effect to your home screen. We hope you like it. • UNDER-THE-HOOD UPDATES: We’ve replaced our entire payment provider, which means a smoother, faster, and more reliable purchase experience if you decide to support the project. In theory, everything should work automatically, but if you can’t find a previously purchased package or your Leszálló Pro subscription, simply tap “Restore Purchases” in the settings. You can even press it more than once. If that still doesn’t solve it, feel free to contact us at kapcsolat@leszallo.hu. As always, if anything comes up, just let us know. Until then, happy commuting. Xoxo.

For once, no world-changing update, just a little window polishing for the metro… if you know what we mean. Leszálló 3.5 brings you the brand-new Liquid Glass design. • Liquid Glass: A cleaner, more modern, and more fluid look that aligns perfectly with iOS 26 design guidelines.

“Tickets, passes!” — you heard it, and suddenly had no idea what to tap. Leszálló 3.4 brings your mobile ticket right to your Lock Screen, Control Center, and Action Button. Just press the side of your iPhone, and voilà - your transit pass flashes up instantly. • LOCK SCREEN & CONTROL CENTER SHORTCUTS: Launch Leszálló - or even your favorite mobile ticketing app - with a single tap. If you’re using an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 or newer, you can also assign your ticket to the Action Button above the volume keys. Sure, billion-dollar companies should be the ones doing this - but your convenience matters to us. Our solution opens Leszálló first, which then redirects you to your selected ticketing app (set in Leszálló’s settings). Not perfect, but hey, it’s something. • APPLE WATCH COMPLICATIONS: Accessing Leszálló on your Apple Watch is now easier than ever. You can now add our stylish purple icon right to your watch face. One tap, and you’ll instantly see nearby departure times or where to board. Got an idea, a suggestion, something you love - or hate? Let us know via the Contact button in Settings. Until then, happy commuting! Puszi.

Apple Watch and iPad users, we’ve got great news for you! The smallest and the biggest devices both get some love in Leszálló 3.3. Plus, we’ve squashed an annoying bug for our Pro users. • APPLE WATCH NEARBY DEPARTURES: Just start scrolling down, and nearby departures will show up right on your wrist - just like on your iPhone. A little spoiler: we’ve got more planned for the Watch. *wink-wink* • IPAD SUPPORT: We know, the chances of someone whipping out their iPad on the metro to check the best door to board at are… low. But surprisingly, many of you are using Leszálló on an iPad. So, let it be written, let it be done: from this day forth, Leszálló has a dedicated iPad app. • LESZÁLLÓ PRO BUG FIXES: Are you a Pro subscriber and ever had the app not recognize your subscription? Yeah… we messed up, and we’re sorry. The code checking if your subscription was still valid was a bit too aggressive - often thinking the party was over when it really wasn’t. But in this version, we’ve fixed it. All of it. • RESTORE PURCHASES: Because of the above issue, many of you reached out asking how to restore your existing purchases. So, from now on, the “Restore Purchases” button will be way more visible in multiple places.

Hop into your mobile ticket app with a single tap. Introducing Leszálló 3.2: • MOBILE TICKET SHORTCUT: Got your travel pass on your phone? Set your preferred app - whether it’s BudapestGO, MÁV, or Mobiljegy - in Settings, and jump to it with one tap! Just look for the wallet button in the top-right corner after you’ve made your choice under the Settings tab. • UPDATED DATABASE: I took a stroll around Budapest again - this time during peak hours - testing the M2 and M3 lines to see how the crowd flows. Tweaked a few stops by +/- 1 door to help you avoid the stampede, especially when heading for the elevator. Speaking of which, missing elevators at Lehel tér, Nagyvárad tér, and Dózsa György út are now included in the Lift Package. Elevate your ride - literally! • LESZÁLLÓ PRO REFINED: Subscribers, rejoice! You can now check the validity of your subscription right in the app. Additionally, if there is a discount, it will be shown promptly.

New icons, a refreshed home screen, and 3 new tram lines. That’s what Leszálló 3.1 brings! • CUSTOMIZABLE ICONS: Prefer a CAF or a ramshackle HÉV train as your app icon? Or maybe you’re more into the orange team than the purple one? Starting today, you can change the app icon to your liking, and there’s plenty to choose from! • DEFAULT LINE: Choose which line should appear when you open Leszálló. Always want to see the metro line M3? Or are you only using HÉV regularly? Now, setting this can save you a few click every time. • TRAM PACKAGE EXPANSION: Good news for Tram Package owners! Leszálló now supports lines 1A, 2B, and 23. • DARK ICON: We’ve fine-tuned the default dark icon appearance. Have you noticed that when you switch your home screen to dark mode, the lights of the metro on the app icon turn on? This effect is now even better. • MINOR BUG FIXES: Among other improvements, if your train has already left, it will no longer show as “-1 minute” but will disappear from the list. Also, the small widget will now display the full departure time (e.g., 12:00) instead of cutting off (e.g, 12:…). Lastly, the Sign-in with Apple account will now be fully deleted if you delete your Leszálló account. If you previously registered with Apple and deleted your Leszálló account - but the Apple account was retained due to this issue - we will prompt for your name again during re-registration. After that, everything will work smoothly for account deletion and re-registration.

The first time I became interested in coding was during my final year of high school, and that’s when I wrote the first version of Leszálló as a passion project. Over the years, we reached 5,000 users. Now, with a computer science degree in my hands, I’ve rewritten my favorite project from the ground up, putting all my knowledge into it. This is Leszálló 3.0. • NEW LOOK: A fresh icon, a more mature color palette, and a cleaner, refined user interface. • iOS 18 COMPATIBILITY: Dark and tinted icons, along with tinted widgets. • DIRECTION CHANGE: The super-cute vehicle icons can now change direction depending on whether you’re boarding from a shared or split platform. Not sure which platform is which? The animation will help you figure out if the train is coming from the left or right. • DEPARTURES: View nearby departures on a completely new page, along with their departure times. Live departure times are highlighted in green. You can filter by distance and sort by distance or route number. • WIDGETS: Check nearby departures right from your home screen or even the lock screen. • RELEVANT NEARBY DEPARTURES: In the Door View (you know, “EXIT 2. carriage 1. door” and similar), you’ll now see departure times related to your current location, not just where you’re going. For example, if you’re heading to Nyugati, it’s the departure times of the metro stop where you’re boarding, since that matter. Plus, if multiple lines share the same route, you’ll see all of them. For instance, on the “négyeshatos,” both the 4 and 6 tram departures will appear for you. • LIVE ACTIVITIES: Picture this: You scan your pass, open Leszálló, check if the metro is about to leave, and realize you don’t need to run. You close the app, change your music, reply to messages, and by the time you’re off the escalator, tap back into Dynamic Island, and you’ll see which door to use and when the metro is arriving. No need to reopen the app. You can also set automatic dismissal to stop the Live Activity after a set time. • UPDATED WATCH APP: If you have an Apple Watch, you can now access not just metros but all of Leszálló’s supported stops from your wrist. That’s over 500 tram stops, 80 HÉV stops, and almost 100 metro stops. • LESZÁLLÓ PRO: All these new features are bundled into the new Leszálló Pro package. More details in the app. ----- Additionally, Leszálló 3.0.1 fixes an issue that prevented the purchase of Leszálló Pro. Thank you for reporting this!

The 2.8 update of Leszálló is just a big spring cleaning. • NEW ELEVATORS: The elevators of the newly opened downtown section have also been added to Leszálló. This means 2x10 new lifts for Elevator Package owners. • BYE-BYE REPLACEMENT BUS: This 7-years-long nightmare is slowly coming to an end, so everything related to the replacement bus flopera has been removed from the app. •WATCH APP: These new lifts and bug fixes are also coming to your wrist. Why only now? Let's just say that Algorithmic Statistics and Linear Algebra for AI won't be amongst my favorite subjects. But I passed both on the second try. Until the next update, have a good time public transporting!

Hello Szentendre, Rávkeve, Csepel, Gödöllő, Csömör! Hello metropolitan area! •HÉV LINES: 5 new HÉV lines with its 136 stops has been added to Leszálló. Find your way outside of Budapest as well. • SUPPORTED LINES: H5, H6, H7, H8 and H9. Don’t forget, if you find errors, send it with the “!” button in the top-right corner, and I’ll try to fix it as soon as possible.

Uh, what did the announcer lady said, where will the doors open? Leszálló 2.6 is bringing Door-Opening-Direction-Indication and a small discount until the end of the year. • REZSICSÖKKENTÉS: A so called hungaricum, where we reduce the price of something. Or reduce the reduction itself. You never know. However, in the months of November and December the price of the Tram Pack is truly reduced by 70%. Instead of 1.290 HUF now it is 399 HUF, if you’re purchasing in HUF. If the high price due to the costly development hold you back, maybe it helps a little. • DOOR OPENING DIRECTIONS: A tiny arrow is now hinting you which side the door will open on. Both on the trams and on the subway. Might be helpful when it is crowded or you just didn’t pay attention to the one-time announcements. (Noice Cancellation folks, where you at?) • TEENY-TINY FIXES: Thank you all, who keeps senging reports using the report button on the top-right corner. You keep Leszálló up-to-date for the community. Special thanks for Máté this time! On line 17, 19 and 41 stop Kolosy tér and on line 51 stop Mester utca / Könyves Kálmán körút is fixed. On metro line M4 stop Kelenföld vasútállomás, Móricz Zsigmond körtér and Fővám tér is adjusted a little. Hope you are enjoying using Leszálló. If you have any feedback, please let me know under the Contact tab.

LESZÁLLÓ 2.5.1 • BUG FIXES: 3 doors have been updated. Huge thanks for reporting it! :) LESZÁLLÓ 2.5 • TRAM PACK: Leszálló has been extended with 32 new lines with 419 stops. Reach your connections, find your way and save time by doing all this now on trams as well! • SUPPORTED LINES: After half a year of working on this update, the currently supported lines are the following: 1, 1M, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12, 14, 17, 19, 24, 28, 28A, 37, 37A, 41, 42, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 56, 56A, 59, 59A, 59B, 61, 62, 62A and 69. • ELEVATORS: In 14 stops the app can display the available elevators. If you are an owner of the Elevator Pack, the app will automatically do that for you. • REPORTING: We all make mistakes. Hope you are going to enjoy this update. Have fun traveling!

TRAM PACK! Leszálló 2.4 comes with this brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, completely not ever been done before update. • TRAM PACK: Leszálló has been extended with 16 new lines with 277 stops, in all 554 points of interest. Reach your connections, find your way and save time by doing all this now on trams as well! • SUPPORTED LINES: After half a year of working on this update, I have decided to slowly start rolling it out in pieces, so you can get your hands on it earlier. The currently supported lines are: 1, 1M, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12, 14, 17, 19, 24, 28, 28A, 37, 37A and 41. You will receive all the other lines as gratis once you have purchased the Tram Pack. • ELEVATORS: In 7 stops the app can display the available elevators. If you are an owner of the Elevator Pack, the app will automatically do that for you. • EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: Since the above-mentioned 16 lines are only half of Budapest's Tram Network until Leszálló is expanded by all the lines, you can purchase the Tram Pack at a lower price. :P • REPORTING: We all make mistakes. If you think that the app is displaying the wrong data, please report it with one of the contact options. You will receive a virtual hug for keeping the app updated for all the other commuters! Hope you are going to enjoy this update. Have fun traveling! *hugs*

Let's stay underground a little bit more, as version 2.3 does not bring the long-awaited Tram Pack... YET! • METRO REPLACEMENT: I know, I know... I fell behind a bit. And to prevent this from happening again in the future, you can view all the stations on metro line M3 again. As soon as the city center section opens, the possible changes and the places of elevators will be corrected. During the renovation, you can still use the "Alternativ Lines" button. • NEW INDICATION: On your next journey a new screen will welcome you with a horizontal representation of the selected subway. This change was required by the coming Tram Pack update since on several tram lines more than one type of tramcar runs. This new screen shows the line number and the name of the direction as well. • WATCH APP: Sometimes you have to check the app in a rush, maybe you are running to catch your metro. In these cases, the text usually gets a little too shaky-shaky. So from now on, new colors, matching the subway lines, will help to find your way. Small PSA: Tram Pack is coming this fall! In fact, the app already contains the data of 11 tram lines and some additional code, needed for the update, they are just hidden, until the time comes. :P Feel free to send me some feedback at leszallo@protonmail.com! Thank you all for using and loving this app!

Attention! Instead of the long-awaited version 2.3 now a version 2.2.3 is coming to celebrate Budapest's shortest subway line. • METRO REPLACEMENT: Updated the metro line M3 to adjust to the current situation, where replacement buses run between Göncz Árpád vásosközpont and Kőbánya-Kispest • ALTERNATIVE LINES: As more challenging transportational situations arise, we highly recommend pressing that Alternative Lines button. Good luck surviving the new transportational adventures and don't forget that soon you can use Leszálló at tramlines!

LESZÁLLÓ 2.2.2 • PREPARATION: Making the app ready for the next big milestone - the release of tram line support. • BUG FIXES: There are always some fixes to do around the house. LESZÁLLÓ 2.2 • WATCH APP: After a long-long time the Apple Watch application is ready! Despite the original plans, it's free of any cost. Raise your wrist and have fun with it! • STATISTICS: Below the brand new "You" tab you can check out how much time you have saved with Leszálló. Now it's high time to increase those numbers! • NEW TAB: Renamed the "Settings" to "You" which sums up all your extensions, statistics and settings on one page. • WHAT'S NEW and WELCOME SCREEN: From now on after every update, a screen will pop up politely telling you what's new. For newcomers it's a summary of what this app can do.

LESZÁLLÓ 2.2.1 • ALTERNATIVE LINES: Made the 'Alternative Lines' screen more appealing and easy to use. • BUG FIXES: Sometimes I mess up basic Hungarian grammar. That's it. LESZÁLLÓ 2.2 • WATCH APP: After a long-long time the Apple Watch application is ready! Despite the original plans, it's free of any cost. Attention! After months of coding a new version with a ton of new features is coming to platform 2.2. • WATCH APP: After a long-long time the Apple Watch application is ready! Despite the original plans, it's free of any cost. Raise your wrist and have fun with it! • STATISTICS: Below the brand new "You" tab you can check out how much time you have saved with Leszálló. For newcomers it's a summary of what this app can do.

PREPARATION for something bigger. Version 2.1.1 is the basement of a future skyscraper. - NEW BUTTONS IN NEW PLACES: The "Alternative Lines" button from the dock has moved below the metro-line M3 tab. Just where it belongs. With this move, they solemnly passed his seat to someone bigger, who you will fell in love. With the same move, the button promoting the elevator pack for Budapest also got a redesign. - WHAT'S NEW: From now on, after a new feature release a "What's New?" screen will pop up for you the first time you open the app after an update. Just like at the big ones.

EVEN MORE UI IMPROVEMENTS. That's what got packed in version 2.1. - VISUAL DOOR INDICATORS: Besides the usual texts, from now on the doors' locations are indicated with small pictograms, so you can get an idea of what '3. carriage 4. door' is supposed to mean. - UI FIXES: All the headers are the same size now. Why wasn't it like this until now? Good question. - BUG FIXES: The locations of the exits have been updated at Kossuth Lajos tér and Dózsa György út.
