Looking for a digital circuit simulator to build a CPU from scratch? LogicalArt is the ultimate interactive logic gate simulator and computer architecture sandbox designed to help you master digital electronics!
Whether you are a computer science student, a software engineer, or a hardware hobbyist, LogicalArt teaches you how a computer works from the ground up. Build a fully functional 8-bit microprocessor gate-by-gate, without the hassle of physical breadboards, wiring, or soldering.
NEW: Step-by-Step Logic Design Challenges
Master digital logic fundamentals with interactive, progressive puzzles. Our guided challenges teach you how to build basic logic gates, adders, registers, and complete CPU components from scratch. Learn Boolean algebra and computer organization through hands-on electronics simulation!
Core Features of Our Digital Circuit Simulator:
- Build a CPU Gate-by-Gate: Manually wire NOT, AND, OR, and XOR logic gates to see exactly how processors compute data.
- Custom IC Chip Packaging: Package your circuit designs into modular, reusable IC chips to construct complex arithmetic logic units (ALU), program counters, and RAM memory.
- Advanced Circuit Debugging Tools: Utilize built-in frequency clock generators, digital numerical displays, and real-time logic state visualization for seamless schematic testing.
- Cross-Platform Performance: Experience native, high-performance electronics simulation on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
Learn Computer Architecture & Electronics:
- Fundamental Logic Gates: NOT, AND, OR, XOR
- Sequential Logic & Memory: D Flip-Flops, JK Flip-Flops, Latches, Registers
- Arithmetic & Control: Half Adders, Full Adders, ALUs, Program Counters, Memory (RAM)
- 8-Bit Computer Systems: Connect your components via bus lines to build a working 8-bit computer inspired by classic breadboard architectures!
Perfect for STEM Students & Developers
If you are studying electrical engineering, computer organization, or simply want a low-level hardware understanding below assembly language and Verilog, LogicalArt makes learning visual and intuitive. Dive into the world of semiconductors and microprocessors today!

Theres no way to actually know how to use this app. You can tap to switch things on and off but there’s absolutely no indication of what that does. The UI is too bare to actually do it’s job of informing you what things do.
Developer Response
Here is a quick start guide: https://www.crazylazy.xyz/apps/logicart/quickstartYou can also found it on the Wellcome screen when you open the app or the sidebar bottom left.
The arrow at the edge of the board now clearly opens and closes the input drawer, so adding inputs is easier to find. Floating controls also stay steady while you drag on the board instead of reacting under your finger.
