Cross Cribbage transforms classic cribbage into a fresh, tactical experience played on a 5x5 grid. Instead of scoring traditional pegging hands, players take turns placing cards to build cribbage “hands” across rows and columns. One player scores the rows, the other scores the columns.
Every placement matters. You’re building your own scoring opportunities while blocking your opponent’s best plays. It feels familiar, yet completely new—a blend of cribbage, strategy, and puzzle-solving.
How It Works
• Each turn, you place a card from your hand onto an empty space
• The board fills into 25 cards total, forming cribbage hands in all rows and columns
• One player controls scoring for all horizontal hands, the other for all vertical hands
• If a player is the dealer for the round, they also score the shaded diagonal crib hand
• Standard cribbage scoring applies: 15s, pairs, runs, and flushes
• When the board is full, all hands are scored

Win Conditions

This is a fun and challenging alternative to traditional cribbage.I would love to see the following updates to the new app:1. Score updates after each card is played, rather than at the end of a round.2. Option to bypass the end of round scoring summary - just take me to the next round.3. Double-tap to auto place a card (no confirmation)4. Delete a resumable game5. Option to enlarge card number size.

I really enjoy this app and play the real version on a cross crib board I have at home. I am pretty good but not professional and wish this game had a harder setting… I have never lost. I also wish there was a setting where the player could score their own hand. This could make it a bit more challenging too. Fun game though!

Had issues with the app crashing. Tech support reached out and issue was addressed right away. Haven’t had any crashing since! Top notch game and very enjoyable!

Love the game, it is addictive. Just Wish the 2 player game was setup where it would use your iCloud storage like HandandFoot game is where you can play a friend and be notified when he plays. But it is still one of the best games I have come across.
