See every drive connected to your Mac at a glance - how full it is, how fast it is working, and whether it is running into errors.
Eject a single volume or all of them at once, with one click.
Features:
• Every Volume in One Window
Internal drives, external disks, SD cards and network volumes are listed together, each with its capacity, free space and current activity.
• Quick Eject
Eject a volume with a single click, or eject everything at once before you unplug the dock.
• Volume Statistics
Open any volume to see how long it has been busy, how much data has been read and written, and how many I/O errors and retries it has recorded since startup.
• Live Read and Write Speeds
Watch throughput as it happens, as a running graph or as compact sparklines next to each volume. Choose whether to show the highest speed or read and write separately.
• Volumes in the Menu Bar
Put any volume directly in the menu bar, as an icon, an icon with its name, its usage or its current speed. Click it to eject the volume or to open it in the Finder.
• Info Panel
A compact panel that keeps your startup disk and your other volumes on screen while you work. Open it with Command-Option-P and keep it floating above your other windows.
• Notifications
Get told when a volume is mounted or ejected, so you know when it is safe to unplug.
• Built for the Menu Bar or the Dock
Start Disk Master as a normal window or as a menu bar app, and have it launch at login if you want it always running.
Volumes in the menu bar and the speed graphs are part of Disk Master Premium, a one-time purchase that unlocks them on every Mac you use.

Good…but needs some work
<the-anon>
I recently installed this and it seems to work decently, but it does have a problem that is annoying to me. The primary reason I wanted this was to monitor I/O activity to an external drive but while it shows me that activity for the internal drive and on other external drive the one I am primarily interested in never shows any I/O activity. At first I couldn’t understand why that might be, but then I realized the drive I’m most interested in is a little different. The drive itself is a 2 bay SSD enclosure and I have both drives visible in MacOS and then I have a RAID set created (RAID 1) and an APFS filesystem on top of that. I’m guessing the RAID set is the issue?
Great start; needs ability to "re-mount"

This app conveniently shows all the volumes attached to your Mac, and does so in a nice comprehensive way. There is only one feature that would make this even more usable (especially for those who have external drives attached to their Macs all the time). The menu-bar listing of all volumes should list any unmounted volumes and give the ability to mount them. Without that, I would have to open Disk Utility every time I want to mount an attached volume that is unmounted.I wouldn't mind paying for this feature (I'm currently using the free version)
Disappointed.

First, I bought this primarily to see the load and activity on my drives. At least one of my APFS drives is not showing any activity while files are being written to it. One more thing, I think it would make sense to allow one to open a drive from within the menu bar menu by clicking on it. Aside from the load issue, which is a big deal for me, the app is about 90% close to what I was hoping for. One more thing, it would be nice if external drives either showed in alphabetical order, or they could be rearanged. I have 9 extenral drives, and they are all over the place.
No longer reliable

For several months (through Sonoma and now Sequoia) the app frequently fails to eject, or to update the list of drives once there is an ejection.
Developer Response
Which type of device does this apply to? Can you maybe contact the support so I can get more details?
• Attached volumes that are not mounted can now be shown in the volume list. Turn on "Show Unmounted Volumes" in Settings > General.
• New built-in help answers common questions about volumes and the menu bar.
• Now requires a Mac with Apple silicon. Macs with an Intel processor can keep using the previous version.
