In today’s world we are too sedentary in behavior and too little active. This is the main issue that companies and employees – and ultimately society – are facing. The sedentary lifestyle is the main reason why so many people are experiencing muscle tensions and pain in their body. The pain often results in both tension headaches and neck and back problems. It hinders productivity and well-being at work as well as job satisfaction, meanwhile, it also has severe consequences in relation to employees reporting sick for longer periods. GetUpp is a tool that helps you reduce your sedentary lifestyle at work with the purpose of preventing pain and lifestyle diseases. The app gives you an overview of how much you are sitting during the day, and helps you get off the chair and create new active habits at work. GetUpp is your helping hand that ensures that you increase and maintain your motivation – and eventually reach your goals. The app’s functions: • A personal dashboard GetUpp allows you to get an overview of how much you have been active, and thereby, have reduced your sedentary lifestyle, measured in time, calories, distance, and number of steps. • Active vs. sitting This function shows you how much even the smallest change in behaviour matters. Set a goal and get an overview of respectively your active and sedentary lifestyle through the streak function. • Health data GetUpp makes it possible for you to collect activity data such as steps and calorie burn, this is used to provide an overall overview of your activities during the day. GetUpp wants to give you the most reliable data possible, so you can see the total active and inactive time you spend during your day. That's why we need your Apple Health data. • Challenges You can participate in and challenge your friends and colleagues in many different activities such as walking, standing, biking and step distances as well as burn off calories, count your steps and many other things. • Event calendar Continuously, we will make new exciting and fun events and challenges available for you in this function. • Connection to physical equipment The app allows you to connect Bluetooth to your physical equipment with the purpose of increasing activity and variation during your day. GetUpp is continuously optimised with new exciting functions and events that gives you value at work. Therefore, if you as a user have ideas to content or functions, please write us in the app’s rating function so that we can motivate you even better.
