What is knūmero?
knūmero is a language learning app designed to help all language learners (new, intermediate, or advanced) practice listening to and understanding numbers in their new language.
Why use knūmero?
Regardless of what language you speak or the language you are learning, numbers are everywhere!
Whether it is your first day learning Spanish, paying for a baguette in France, or taking a taxi in Tokyo, hearing and comprehending numbers in a new language is challenging for language learners and travelers around the world.
How knūmero works…
With knūmero you can create unlimited and fully customizable audio lessons that play numbers in both your new and native languages.
New language learners can start with easy numbers (0 – 9), played slowly, and in order. Intermediate and advanced language learners can practice more challenging numbers (1,000 – 10,000) and adjust difficulty by using smaller multiples and faster speed.
knūmero can play numbers in your new language two times for improved retention while allowing you to repeat any number as many times as you like.
Multiples are the perfect way to adjust skill level. For any number range in knūmero, you can practice easier numbers (10,000… 11,000) or more difficult numbers (10,150… 11,745).
You can also reverse the language order in knūmero. Listen to numbers in your new language first, then practice listening to numbers in your native language and translate them.
Practice numbers between 12 languages…
knūmero supports Spanish (Latin America and Spain), French, Italian, Portuguese, English, German, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Korean, Hindi, and Arabic.
With knūmero you can practice between any supported languages. A French student can practice numbers in Portuguese while a German engineer can practice numbers in Mandarin.
