Timedash Widgets was born from our love of 70s Ana Digi watches. Half analog, half digital, these cult classics laid the groundwork for every digital watch that followed. I’ve been using Timedash widgets for years, and one day my widget went dark, and to now see a few pieces of data in a cute little bento box design I’m asked to pay $16 a year. 👀 I get it we all want to make money from the things we create but a one time fee for this app would be reasonable at $16 but yearly. 🫠 Maybe sell it flat and when you do massive updates charge a few $ to update if people want other colors or whatever but monthly and yearly subs and fees are exhausting for people to deal with and keep track of, oh well. Thanks for the good times. ✌🏻
Developer Response Great to hear you're a long term Timedash user. Please note that ALL your previous widgets from version 1 are still FREE! Just check them out in the gallery under 'classics'. If you're unable to locate your old widgets please get in touch via the app or email (info@timedashwidgets.com) so we can properly assist you. We completely rebuilt (and designed) the app from the ground up, and are introducing new data-points and widget designs to choose from on a regular basis. Maintaining the app, keeping it up-to-date for all users and devices, and providing accurate weather data brings costs. This is why the new more advanced widgets and customization are included in the new pricing. But you don't have to upgrade and you keep using you classic widgets completely free because you upgraded from version 1. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out via email and we'd be happy to assist you!

If you're unable to locate your old widgets please get in touch via the app or email (info@timedashwidgets.com) so we can properly assist you. We completely rebuilt (and designed) the app from the ground up, and are introducing new data-points and widget designs to choose from on a regular basis. UPDATE 2: Developer has again REMOVED widgets that were in the original paid version of this app. I don’t understand why I need to buy a subscription to something I ALREADY PAID FOR. UPDATE:Shoutout the developer on this one. They have updated the app to restore the original widgets without the subscription fee. Great communication and appreciate you listening to your users. OLD REVIEW: After purchasing the app + widgets they have updated the app to be a subscription model and all the previous widgets are locked out unless you pay monthly or yearly. The developer needs to add back the ones users have already paid for!

In version 2.1.9, we introduce the Countdown Timer! Use it as a standalone small widget, or as a component you can combine with others to create fully custom widgets.
The Countdown Timer comes in two display styles: a total days countdown, or a detailed view showing years, months, and days. The large variant is available as a standalone widget or as a large component within a Medium Widget, and can also optionally display an event description.
