Reviews - Majority of the beauty product reviews today on YouTube & Instagram are paid promotions. We’ve tried to build a system of authentic and honest reviews on Quinn. Our community members can only review the beauty products which they have used for sufficient number of applications. Each review has the hair properties of the reviewer, and their visual hair logs whenever they have used that product.
Ingredients scanner - Search product ingredients from a database of over 10,000+ products. Each product’s ingredients are classified into whether they have proteins, humectants, and lastly whether they are Curly Girl Method Approved, or CG approved. WIth this, you can keep all the dirty ingredients at bay. You can also submit links to your favorite products, and we’ll add them to our product database.
Hair profile - Everyone in the community has their hair properties and hair goals tagged! So whenever you’re looking to take advice from someone, or get some inspiration from their hair routines or journey, you know how much their hair resembles yours. You also have a product shelf, wherein all the products that you’ve used will appear. You can review them, or add them to your bookmark list to review later.

I’ve loved using this app and have been doing so for over a year. However at the end of May my pictures stopped uploading preventing me from being able to post anything. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, turned my phone off and back on and Checked for updates to software. I would love to keep using the app but cannot post if my pictures won’t upload. 😔

I love this app so far! I love how it lets you set the date, not forcing you to start at your current point. I put my earliest image, which was from December, on my calendar! Unfortunately, there is an issue when making a post. When I try to click a place, to fix a typo or something, it does not let me click that place. Instead it places me at a random space near the bottom. So you have to work up, line-from-line, until you reach the area you wish to edit. If you write long notes, like me, this can be frustrating. The way it automatically selects the entire thing also plays a role in this issue, as you have to select another word in order to get rid of the select all. I’ve also accidentally deleted captions multiple times because of this. I also find that autocorrect does not work well within the app. But that may just be because I generally use a DE keyboard and the app changed it to English. This change causes me to make so many typos, maybe autocorrect has given up on me. I’m known by my friends for being unable to type anyways. You can change it of course, I’m just lazy. 😂This app is brand new, so I was not expecting it to be absolutely perfect. Even still, I love it and recommend it!I hope my feedback can reach the developer, and perhaps something can be done to fix this glitch. God bless!

Hey! I really didn’t want to leave this as review but I can’t find a spot for help in the app. It’s difficult to get a picture of how my hair looks in the front because the crops is so narrow. I know it’s to fit in the calendar but why not make wider calendar slots? Many people’s pics have awkward angles and a lot of head space because of the tall narrow crop. This of us with a big face can’t hardly get our hairstyle in, but you can see the entire design in a t-shirt- doesn’t make sense. Crops should fit hair not shirts! Also, how on earth do you see multiple pictures? It appears that you can press tabs on the top, but nope. Just one picture a day is easily viewable. I was able to flip to the 2nd pic once but I have no idea how I did that and no matter what I try I can’t do it again. Please include an faq or help center.

This app is great for recording my hair journey and getting advice from others. I love seeing my hair twins’ journeys also and seeing what products they use.There is an issue where if I try to go to my notifications, the app shuts down, which is frustrating. Hopefully this is resolved soon!
