Create your next track with Beatly Pro 2.0: richer musical ideas, a redesigned studio, and new effects—all generated on-device without generative AI.
Beatly Pro is a generative music studio for moments when you want to create but need a spark. Generate rap-inspired, lo-fi, chiptune, cinematic, and dance instrumentals, then shape them into your own tracks with hands-on arranging, editing, mixing, and export tools.
Beatly Pro is not an AI music generator. It creates music on your device from curated patterns, musical rules, and controlled randomness—no prompts, cloud generation, or trained AI models.
Whether you need quick inspiration, a backing track, or fresh material for a larger production, Beatly Pro takes you from the first generated idea to a finished track.

WHO IS BEATLY PRO FOR?
Beatly Pro is made for producers and composers seeking inspiration; singers and artists who need a beat to write or rehearse with; game developers, filmmakers, and content creators looking for distinctive instrumental music; musicians who want a customizable practice accompaniment; and anyone curious about generative music.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Open Beatly Pro and tap Play. The app chooses a set of instruments, tempo, key, and musical patterns, then creates up to 8 bars—32 beats—of instrumental music. Tap Next whenever you want to generate a different idea.
Every generated track is yours to shape. Rearrange or repeat its bars, change the tempo or key, swap sounds, adjust the mix, regenerate one instrument, or open the piano roll and edit the notes yourself.
Choose from five styles: Default, Lo-fi, Chiptune, Cinematic, and Dance. The Default style is well suited to rap-inspired beats, while every style brings its own instruments and musical character. For more control, use the chord progression builder to define the harmony, or create custom bar patterns that Beatly can use when generating future tracks. You can also change the key or chord of any beat, and Beatly will transpose its notes to match.
When your track is ready, save it, export it as MIDI, record your performance, render a WAV mix, create stems, or export a seamless loop for use in another project. You can also connect Beatly Pro to your studio setup through MIDI, Audiobus, or Ableton Link.
CAN I USE MY OWN SOUNDS?
Yes. Record a sample inside the app, import a WAV or AIFF file, or load an SF2 SoundFont bank. Samples tuned to C will usually give you the most predictable melodic results.
Enjoying Beatly Pro? A rating or review on the App Store means a great deal. You can also support future development through the optional tip jar.
Useful for backing tracks and looping. Unlike other AI generated music this actually has character and sounds good. Couple of problems though. Icons are often too small to access easily on an iPhone. I can’t find a way to change the instruments on any track except for strings/orchestra. It would be helpful if there were an easier and faster way to change the bar numbers at the top. Also I discovered a serious glitch: out of nowhere, xylophone seems to have taken over and sounds on all the tracks even when they are muted

Love the idea and concept. Fact there’s not an over abundant of these generators on the App Store blow my mind. I currently use Beatly for a jump of inspiration..It’s very much possible to create a song from start to finish, even capturing the midi files and sending them to yourself for more of a treat in your DAW.Although, there’s many more features that could come later on. I support the developer and his work and dedication to make this app even better than what it is. I’ve been back and forth over Instagram, talking about bugs, upcoming features, etc. he’s really dedicated to implementing more, and listening to suggestions. Of course could use the help of others for ideas!I’m thankful for this app because it gave me the little bump I needed to finish a track. Even if it’s just from capturing one sample and using that other than the whole track. I believe this app holds potential.

Thank you! I really value your support!
This is really cool.

This is a really cool idea. The developer has spent a lot of time fleshing it out. The dedication shows through the controls and settings. It’s almost perfect. The one thing that I wish was expanded upon is the chord progression tab. I wish there were more chords to chose from. Like 7ths and 9ths. Also how do I set the key to a minor scale? It’s almost perfect but unfortunately I cannot use this tool to aid me in songwriting until I can select different kinds of chords! Thanks!Definitely get this app. It’s really cool.
Developer Response
Thank you for your review!I’m adding 7ths and 9ths in the next release, great idea! Hopefully this will help you in your work!Major/minor chords can’t be forced as of now. The algorithm decides itself what is the best option. I’ll think about it if I’m able to change this behavior. Thanks again and have fun with Beatly!

I love the app, but there is one thing missing. Could you please add a midi batch exporter to it, so we all don’t waste time doing them one at a time. I might just want to go through a lot of beats at one time and then upload them all at once. I think it would save me and other’s a lot of time, something we all may not have. I hope you can get this for your next update. On that note I thank you for your efforts and be safe.
Developer Response
Thank you for your feedback! I’m not currently working on batch MIDI exporting but it’s definitely something I’m planning to implement asap. Thanks!
Welcome to Beatly Pro 2.0—the biggest update in the app’s history. This is much more than a fresh coat of paint: the way Beatly creates, edits, mixes, and presents music has been improved throughout.
MORE MUSICAL RESULTS
Generation now has a stronger sense of musical direction. New style-specific phrase libraries bring more variety and character, while improved chord voicing, phrase-ending cadences, and recurring melodic themes help tracks feel more connected from bar to bar. Bass patterns have also been refined to leave more room for the rest of the arrangement.
NEW WAYS TO SHAPE YOUR SOUND
Reverb, delay, and compression are now available on every mixer channel alongside the existing filter, resonance, and decimation controls. The redesigned mixer gives each instrument clearer controls, responsive level feedback, and a more focused workflow.
A COMPLETELY REDESIGNED WORKSPACE
The new dashboard reacts to your music with real-time audio visuals and clearer playback progress. The mixer, piano roll, track settings, chord progression builder, sample recorder and editor, pattern library, MIDI importer, MIDI exporter, and audio renderer have all been redesigned to feel consistent and easier to navigate.
FASTER, SAFER EDITING
The piano roll has been rebuilt for more precise note editing, clearer timing, and more reliable undo. Continuous edits now stay focused on the bar you are working on, so you can hear changes in context without losing your place. Pattern editing and MIDI import are also clearer and more direct.
BETTER ON IPAD AND WITH VOICEOVER
Layouts have been improved across iPhone and iPad, including landscape use on iPad. Contextual help now explains controls where you need it, and VoiceOver support has been expanded throughout the mixer, piano roll, settings, import, and export workflows.
A NEW LOOK—AND A LOT OF POLISH
Beatly Pro has a new app icon, refreshed launch experience, smoother transitions, clearer controls, and many stability and audio-session improvements behind the scenes.
STILL GENERATIVE. NEVER GENERATIVE AI.
Beatly Pro creates music directly on your device using curated musical patterns, music theory, and controlled randomness. There are no prompts, no cloud generation, and no trained AI models—just a purpose-built musical engine designed to give you ideas that remain yours to shape.
Thank you for supporting Beatly Pro. We hope this update inspires your next track.
