I began reading at a young age and my parents always read to us as well. I love to read just about anything, but I am on a limited income, so what I can read is sometimes limited. This App allows for readers to indulge in several different genres and enjoy the fantasy worlds these authors create. The App allows one ‘free’ reading by watching quick ads as you read, usually shown in between chapters. Watching the ads allows the reader not only “free” journeys through the pages of many a book, but it also allows the reader to support the authors of the books one reads, as the authors get a percentage of the revenue generated from the ads! It’s a win, win for all!! The books I’ve read are very imaginative and unique with different takes on the worlds they create. The books may have some spelling and grammatical errors, but it is generally pretty clear what is meant to be said! This App is a lifesaver for me! I’m usually stuck at home and I deal with depression, anxiety and ptsd. Reading helps me redirect what is going on in my head!!! A LIFESAVER!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP FOR THOSE WHO LOVE TO READ!!!

This app is a nice surprise! I’m happy I found it, you may have to see a few adds, but the books are free and so far really good! If you find a problem you can actually have it fixed! Why pay for books when you don’t have to? I’m sure the new authors will find our comments helpful too!

The stories here are poorly written. It’s painful to see them riddled with grammatical errors, lack of or overuse of punctuation, spelling errors and thought processes being a jumbled and rambling mess. Novice writer or not you should always proofread your stories and if it’s not written in your native language have someone native to that language proofread for you. It’s almost impossible to find an interest in a story when mentally you have to reword every or every other sentence for it to make sense. Not worth downloading. Also, don’t be fooled by the “promotion” going on. They state it’s $0.99 for a week trial but you’ll be charged the full weeks cost the moment you authorize it. A waste of money and time.
Great Concept, But More Ads Than Expected

I really like that Melo Short is free to use and offers a nice, smooth experience overall. One of the main reasons I downloaded it was because it advertised having no forced ads, which sounded great. However, I’ve noticed there are quite a few ads while using the app. It’s a bit disappointing since that wasn’t what I expected based on the description. I hope the team might consider reducing the ad frequency or updating the advertising to better reflect the experience. Still, it’s a promising app with good potential!
