First and foremost, Alinea is made BY women FOR women. In our current society patriarchy still seems to rule, and misogyny is making the ultimate comeback. This is why financial literacy and understanding for women is so crucial, more now, than ever. As women we need to be more proactive in addressing and understanding our finances, and especially when it comes to investing! The stock market is heavily male dominated, and I know we are all so accustomed to scrolling past that one guy on social media screaming “hustle hustle hustle” or tossing around terms that most of us have never heard before- it’s boring, and seems to only cater to the men. With Alinea, all of the confusion and unknown, is tossed away. Alinea is extremely user friendly, simple to use, and easy to understand, for any woman that is completely new to the world of stocks & investing. I set my app to automatically invest a set amount of $ each month. The app also sends me notifications to update me on how my investments are doing. I have already started to make some money! My favorite part is you get to choose the risk level you are most comfortable with. I would highly recommend Alinea to any woman who is looking to invest but isn’t sure where to start. We need more women in male dominated spaces!

Been looking for an app like this for a while, and after seeing it on TikTok, so I decided to download it. The user interface makes it very easy to use and it’s aesthetically pleasing. The issue I have with it is the investors spend more time making ads, then actually being active on other platforms. I attempted to research before actually investing and getting into the app. They have a Discord that they aren’t even active on and the TikTok account that they have for this is mainly just add to not actually how to use the app or tips or anything. It could be a very good app, but I feel like I’ve basically had to go into this blind, because there was no one you can actually ask for about information. They offer a zoom call but it's hard to get in contact with a human being. Even on their website, the most recent article was from forever ago. I’m not quick to judge the app, but I am quick to judge the creators and their lack of presence. i’ve tried to get people to start a conversation in the Discord so that I could have an understanding and so that others can have an understanding, but it seems the creators are just not there nor do they want to check it. I want to learn more, I want to earn more, but how can I know what do to without some guidance?
