In this release, we added Apple HealthKit integration that automatically syncs health data from users' iPhones and connected devices (Apple Watch, fitness trackers, medical monitors) to clinical backend systems, eliminating manual data entry.
Background sync operates when the app opens, periodically throughout the day, and at scheduled times, with intelligent deduplication to prevent redundant uploads
All synced data includes source tags and timestamps for clinical tracking, ensuring healthcare providers can monitor the origin and timing of each measurement.
Particularly valuable for post-operative care and remote patient monitoring, enabling real-time health data collection while maintaining user privacy through explicit permissions and read-only access
