The app comes preloaded with numerous tunings and scales, but users are free to create their own custom libraries.
When a tuning, scale and root note are combined, a Dictionary Item is created. These Dictionary Items can then be displayed on the fretboard in countless ways and saved as reusable snapshots for practice and performance.
Chord and Scale Finder was designed with maximum flexibility in mind, allowing musicians to explore genres, tunings and harmonic ideas that might not normally be associated with their instruments.
One of the biggest challenges of alternate tunings is having to relearn chord and scale patterns from scratch. Chord and Scale Finder helps solve that problem by making the relationships visible instantly.
