Cevşenü'l Kebir
It is an extremely exalted and highly precious prophetic supplication (munacat) brought to the Prophet (sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem) by the Angel Gabriel (peace be upon him) through revelation, saying, “Take off your armor and read this!” It has been transmitted through an unbroken chain (tevatür) from Zayn al-Abidin (r.a.).
Prayer is the most powerful weapon of a believing person. Cevşen-ül Kebir is one of the greatest prayers. Due to the depth of its content, the fluency of its expressions, and the narrations about the worldly and hereafter rewards obtained from reading it, it is among the prayers that all Muslims never abandon.
