Check in once a day, light a pixel, and your little travel buddy mails you a postcard. No account, no ads, and your habits stay on your phone. Check in once a day, and your pixel pal mails you a postcard. Tiny Habit is a cozy habit tracker with a little travel buddy. Every day you check in, one piece of a postcard lights up. Fill the card and your companion sends it home from a new stop on the journey: a seaside town, a night market, a sunflower farm, a snowy mountain and more. No account. No ads. Your habits stay on your phone. HOW IT WORKS - Add a few habits: meditate, drink water, read, run, journal or anything you like - Check in on any of them to light today's piece of the postcard - Miss a day and nothing is lost. Your buddy waits at the current stop - Finish everything you planned for a perfect day and the piece gets a gold mark - Complete a card to see where your friend went, and get a peek at the next stop A JOURNEY TO COLLECT - Story routes with hand-drawn pixel postcards, collected in your album - Flip any postcard to see its dates, the habits behind it and the notes you wrote along the way - When a route ends, the journey goes on. Your buddy keeps wandering and keeps writing STAMPS FOR EVERY STREAK - A stamp for every full week and every full month - Milestones for days checked in, streaks and total check-ins - Holiday stamps for the holidays you follow, from New Year to Halloween CHECK IN FROM YOUR HOME SCREEN - The Today widget shows the habits still to do. On iOS 17 and later, tap a box to check in without opening the app - The Journey widget (Pro) shows your postcard on the way MADE FOR EVERY DAY - Reminders at the times you choose - A pixel calendar and stats for each habit - A quick note for any day - Dark mode - English and Simplified Chinese PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your habits, check-ins and notes are stored only on your device. There is no sign-up and no cloud account. We use anonymous analytics and crash reports to keep the app stable, never your habit content. TINY HABIT PRO Free includes up to 5 habits, the Departure route, the cat and dog companions, every stamp and the Today widget. Pro adds: - Unlimited habits - Every story route, with new ones about every 8 weeks - More companions: Maple the fox, Yuzu the capybara and Hoot the owl - Pocket green and Arcade red color palettes - Wandering postcards at dusk, at night, in rain and in snow - The Journey widget - A 6-month heatmap and postcards shared without a watermark Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The yearly plan comes with a 7-day free trial for eligible accounts. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Postcards and stamps you have earned stay yours, even if Pro ends. Almost great

Pretty good alternative to Done, which tragically no longer works since it was taken over from the original developer. I’d have rated it a lot higher except I can’t figure out how to add habits to previous days — I am adhd and don’t always remember to log something when I do it, especially if it’s right before bed. And so then I can’t get credit for it? What’s the point of the app at all?

Fill the card and it is mailed home from a new stop - An album of postcards, each with your dates, habits and notes on the back - Stamps for full weeks and months, streak milestones and holidays - Home Screen widgets. On iOS 17 and later, tap a box to check in - A fresh pixel look, with dark mode The Pomodoro timer and the 21-day challenge are gone in 2.0.
