Besides regular robustness and security related updates, the major change is the use of new geographic imagery from Mapbox and Open Street Maps, while version 1 used google maps. One key benefit is automatic storage of an offline map for Vinalhaven. You can now select your preferred maps application for driving directions. The layout, flow, and usage of this version of VHtrails is the same as in version 1.

This version 1.3.3 contains minor updates. Since cellular service on Vinalhaven has significantly improved during the past years, you may now install the app and update the offline database while on cellular network (Previously, WiFi was required). Other updates are related to software updates by Apple's software environment.

This release has a key feature enhancement that allows for showing multiple main trails per preserve/park instead of a single trail/loop. Also, multiple trail heads can be defined. Partner icons are now more legible, and better placed and scaled. Trailhead icon has new image.

This version contains final edits to the About and Help text and will be the first one that we are going to publish.
