Save favourites and your home address, so you don't have to type the same destination twice. You can now set up several vehicle profiles and switch between your motorhome and your car in a couple of taps, and pick a better-sounding voice for the spoken directions. If there's traffic ahead, the app now offers you an alternative route while you're driving. Speed cameras can be shown on the map, and you can use the app in landscape. In CarPlay you can switch to satellite view and move the instruction box to the other side so it doesn't cover your route. Plus a few fixes so everything runs more reliably. We fixed a bug that sometimes caused an incorrect turn-by-turn instruction when the route was actually correct.

This release brings a couple of things we've had on the list for a while, plus a batch of fixes. You can now pick your own starting point for a route instead of always leaving from your current location. And you can switch between kilometers and miles. On the fix side: saved routes work again — you can open and start them without getting stuck. The map now opens on your actual location when you launch the app, without the offset some of you have been dealing with. iPhone/CarPlay and iPad agree on the same route, so road closures and other blockers are handled consistently across devices. Your "Always" location permission sticks the first time you set it. And on CarPlay, the speed readout and speed limit are back where they should be. Thanks for the reports — keep them coming.

We did some maintenance and hunted down the following problems: - A problem for our Luxembourg customers has been resolved. - A problem with the display of map layers such as "Traffic" or "Restrictions" after switching between normal map and satellite map has been resolved. - A problem within the onboarding process has been resolved.

We have solved a problem in the navigation where your screen was not being kept awake and automatically switched off.

Fixes: - Fixed the speed limit display for vehicles from 3.5t to 7.5t. Improvements: - In the navigation view, the display of the entire route has been improved. Now, only the part of the route that is still to be driven is displayed. - The display of the overall route has been improved in the navigation view. Non-relevant displays are now hidden. - In the navigation view, the altitude and tilt angle of the map view have been optimized. You can now see more of the route ahead. New features: - You can now also adjust the map view in the navigation view. Switch back and forth between the possible map styles. - The route option "Avoid toll roads" is now available for all vehicles up to 7.5 tons.

Improvements: - If you use the "Restrictions" map layer, only the restrictions that apply to your motorhome are displayed. - We have added a notification dialog that informs you when a new app update is available. - We have optimized the sound settings of the navigation announcements so that the interaction with other apps that play music or podcasts works better. - We have improved the contrast of the status bar on the map view so that it is always readable. - We have avoided truncating text within the speed limit display.
