Now fills the screen on iPhone Duo and iPad. Step into the box against a real pitcher, hunt your city for prizes, and never miss a reply again. Made for the big screen Open your iPhone Duo or pick up your iPad and Dodgers Nation fills the screen: two columns of news, more pins on show in your collection, full-length reels, and tabs that sit where your thumb is. Maps for the big screen On iPhone Duo and iPad, Maps puts the map on one side and the places on the other, or stacks them when you stand it up, with the split right on the fold. Tap a place and its card opens with the details while the map centers on it. Each spot now has one number, the same on the map and in the list, and the photo sits on the left of the card when a place has one. Glowing pins on win days When the Dodgers win, spots with a Win Special glow blue on the map until 11:59 p.m. Preferred spots pulse blue and white, and red, white and blue when they have a Win Special too. Turns with you Rotate your iPhone Duo, iPad or iPhone and the app follows. The Dodgers Nation emblem now sits beside the Feed and Chat titles. A schedule that uses the space On iPhone Duo, Stats > Schedule shows the games on one side and the game you pick on the other: first pitch, pitchers, where to watch, plus Add to Calendar, Watch and Buy Tickets one tap away. Stand it upright and the details sit above the list. Fold it open like a book and a Dodgers photo leads the details. Batter Up, a whole new game Face a boss pitcher one at-bat at a time. Read the pitch, aim by tapping where you want to swing, and time it. Twelve pitch types with real break, a live strike zone, and a batted ball you can actually follow: line drives, deep flies, and home runs that land in the seats. Every at-bat pays out, and you pick the game you want to play. Scavenger Hunt Real hunts in the real world. Pick from the hunts running now, work the clues in any order, and check in at each spot with a photo. Your position confirms the find and the coins land right away. Find the most clues and you're in the draw for the prize; post your photos and your odds multiply. Chat tells you when you're wanted A dot appears on the Chat tab and the Dodgers Nation wordmark when there are new replies in a room you've been talking in. Tapping through takes you to that room, not somewhere else. The app icon carries the count too. Comments on game updates join the conversation Comment on a game update and it now shows up in the live game chat as well, where other fans can reply and react. Your comment still sits on the card. Code of the Day A promo code bar on your Profile, with a fresh code when there's one to give. Fixes - Tapping a notification when the app is closed now opens what it's about, not the feed. - Podcasts, reels and videos run on Apple's newer media players, so playback is steadier. - Your Scavenger Hunt photos now save to your camera roll. - Notifications about a hunt, a friend, or your invites open the right screen instead of the feed. - Check-in at Dodger Stadium works again for everyone. - Chat rooms have their own colors and icons, and the Social rail lines up. - The hunt list no longer sends you back to a hunt that already ended. - Assorted crashes and layout problems across the games.
