more This game is fun as well as challenging to play. I think sometimes the 4 letter Lingo is too easy for me, and the 5 letter Lingo is too hard; I guess my difficulty level is between the two! I’ve unlocked the 6 letter Lingo but I haven’t played it yet. I like that you can get the letters to earn more points per letter as you play more I think (I probably didn’t explain that well enough, but you’ll see as you play; it’ll pop up after you’ve been playing for a while). If you like word games, this would be one I’d recommend to play.

Well… if you played the old computer version from the GSN website years ago, you’ll be very disappointed and bored. You have A LOT of time to guess the word… one time I mistyped and because it “didn’t accept the word,” I lost and it gave me the word plus I lost my turn. That’s lame. Out of the 100+ times I’ve played, only three times have I not gotten the word, but I was very close. I chose to watch the ad to have an extra chance, and AFTER watching the ad, it wouldn’t let me take the extra turn! It just said sorry that I had not guessed it. What is that about? I’ve watched the ad to get the 10 minutes of unlimited tickets, only to also have to watch ads between words… I’m deleting the game. It’s way too slow for me, which makes it boring. The words are way too simple. I shouldn’t be guessing almost every word on the third try. Make a tougher version for people who actually have more than a second grade vocabulary, and it may actually be fun to play.

Like most game show apps these days, you play a quick round for stars/treasure chests and the like. It’s a nice recreation of the game show, including the bingo element the current UK version doesn’t have. (This app is from the currently running UK version of “Lingo”). I do wish I could pay a small something to get rid of the ads, they get very annoying, very fast.

We’re back with a big new update, here are the main details!
Bingo
-Bingo now has its own section along with a new-look Bingo machine that draws balls. You will no longer need to play Bingo after each game of Lingo!
-Draws are made using a new currency called Bingo Tokens that are obtained through normal gameplay
-All Bingo numbers now have an additional reward behind them when stamped off. These rewards go into a Line Case that you receive when the Bingo line is complete.
-We have an additional Reward Meter that fills each time you use a Bingo Token giving you even more nice prizes!
Chests
-Chest timer requirements have been removed from the game, All Chests will open automatically when obtained.
-Bronze Chests for completing a Bingo line have been replaced by the new Line Cases
-Silver and Gold chests will continue to be obtained from their usual places
-We have removed all Chest options from the Shop
Premium Letters
-We have added 2 new Premium Letter levels - Emerald and Amethyst!
Game Instructions & Help
-We have completely revamped our game tutorials and instructions. You can now access a specific instruction pop-up directly from certain screens.
-Instructions are swipe-able and able to be exited at any time.
End of Game Screen
-We have made big changes to the screen you see after completing a Lingo, it is now nicely animated to show your score more clearly
-Bingo is no longer part of the end of game screen!
Boosters
-Boosters can now be purchased from within the game using coins rather than gems. Boosters can still be purchased with gems in the Shop.
City Selection
-You now have the option to choose your background from a list of where you have visited already.
-We’ve added an 11th City - Barcelona!
General Changes
