WOW To all of you out there trying to find writing software for mobile, this is your best bet. Here’s my list of things I wanted, I got everything except fonts and I can fix that later. An explanation mark (!) is next to everything in the app. -A way to organize scenes into chapters! -Documentation for characters and other ideas! -Ability to write notes! -Ability to use italics, bold text, and underlined text! -Ability to use the symbol that looks like a munch of straight lines all the same size! -Fonts -If not fonts, have the normal font be visually pleasing! -The app is visually pleasing! THERE IS SO MUCH MORE I DIDN’T EVEN THINK OF UNTIL I GOT THE APP To the dev- THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS BEAUTIFUL WORK OF ART To people who can’t figure out how to write in normal mode- I can’t either, but this is how I figured it out; I went into easy mode and wrote something, then went back into normal mode to see where my text was shown. I can’t tell you how to get there from normal mode though, but I remember it was clear after I did what I just described. You can change the mode in settings. Edit: To add the words you press the ‘add’ button on the bottom and press ‘text’ the text is the actual words in your book. ALSO there’s a glitch where if I select a lot of words and delete them, I have to go out of the app and back in because the screen gets tinted white and nothing works. Might just be my iPad, but please try to fix it if it ends up being the app. Thank You

Ok like the title says, I love this app lol. It’s amazing for writing stories on, way better than any other writing app I’ve used, I have to say though that “NORMAL” mode is a bit difficult when it comes to the actual writing aspect of it lol, but everything else in Normal mode is great and easy to understand and I can write every single detail, on accessories, characters, locations etc. I Write in Easy mode, so I can literally just click a button and write, but if I need info on a character or location or accessory I’ll just switch back to normal mode, than back to Easy, it all takes about 30 seconds or less, and deletes nothing! So fun, and I love being able to add a book cover, I have so many story ideas and they’re all in this app, waiting for me to complete them haha. Right now I’m working on a story about a boy who is wakes up 200 years in the future, in a word torn by a war with aliens, and needs to master his new found powers, along with leading a team of heros(kinda childish IK but it’s actually coming out awesome!) only 2 issues/things I hope they fix is 1. I wish that when I went to put a book cover , I can size and shape the picture to the perfect size, since they don’t have that option it sometimes ends up VERY enlarged, please fix, and 2. Multiple fonts, for those of us who have loud noises, characters with accents, etc. It would be helpful to emphasize the sound or make it known that the person is speaking differently, other than that love this app, so thank you so much Devs!💚💚

I had to write a review about this app. It is amazing and so caring towards writers. I have been using this app for only few months but it is insane. I us it for writing books mostly and being happy knowing it's reliable even offline as many malfunction for the need to be online. I even use it for notes or planning and it's so essay to organize with, I even use it to organize my essays as I'm also a AP English student and needed this to help out. With it's built in features like schedules, categories, tags, scenes, search, view, sections and my favorite, color labels. It is overall a well made and amazing app to use especially with it's backup feature. The only real issue I do have with this app is, it doesn't have an automatic sync or account connection, which it absolutely makes up, for being free to use. Unlike other apps that get in my way, or cost way too much, or does the same thing but more expensive and not even worth the hassle, it's free. I appreciate what you guys do and I just wanna say, out of all the apps I would use or even had the money to use, I would still pick this. Because frankly, this is 100% better than any other one I've seen and paid for. So thank you!

So, I am absolutely in LOVE with Novelist. It’s very well made and the formats are impeccable. When I first saw the app, I was worried and suspected it was too good to be true. All of that changed when I gave it a download. I am an avid author and writing is my passion, so nothing makes me happier than stuff like this. I first went in and it gave me a quick tutorial. Afterward, I clicked on Add A Book and made the title, also choosing a cover. I had just begun the book on Notability, and so I copy pasted it and organized it into the scenes on Novelist. OBSESSED. You can add tags for scenes, characters, locations, props, and more. After planning out my main characters I was shocked and excited about the awesome character building designs. After writing a quick bio I could choose a profile pic, add tags, make RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER CHARACTERS 🤯, add additional names and notes! I could create locations, props, events, and more. I was stricken with excitement. But let me introduce you to the best thing of all. METADATA.With Metadata I could add physical features, ages, and super in depth stuff without having to write it myself in the synopsis. I am obsessed, and if you are thinking about getting it, stop hesitating.
