KnoBee: Family Tree Maker
Family chat, feed & genealogy
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Build your family tree in minutes. See how you are related, chat with relatives and schedule birthday wishes for years. Free.
KnoBee is a free family tree maker made for Indian families. Build your family tree (vanshavali) in minutes, see exactly how you are related to every relative, chat with your family and share photos in a private family feed. Know your family. Keep them close.
FAMILY TREE MAKER THAT BUILDS ITSELF
You add only your own part: parents, brothers and sisters, husband or wife and children. When a relative joins, they add their side and the trees join up into one big family tree. No typing a hundred names.
SEE HOW YOU ARE RELATED
Tap any relative and the tree moves to them. KnoBee names the relation in your own language: bua, masi, taya, mama, chacha, bhabhi, and even "mami's brother's wife". Your whole family tree fits on one screen, with no scrolling.
PRIVATE FAMILY FEED AND CHAT
• Share photos, videos and good news with relatives only, not the whole internet.
• Family chat and family groups with voice notes. Send one message to many relatives.
• When you join, you see the family posts from before you came.
BIRTHDAY WISHES THAT NEVER MISS
Write a birthday message today and schedule it for a day, once or every year for up to 50 years. A father can set wishes for his son's next 20 birthdays. Write to a relative who has not joined yet: the message waits and arrives the day they sign up.
BUILT FOR EVERY AGE
• Add elders, children and family members who have passed away.
• Compact view for small text, Large view for bigger text and simpler screens. Light and dark theme.
• 13 Indian languages: English, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Assamese and Urdu.
MARRIAGE AND FAMILY, KEPT IN STEP
Add a wife or husband and both are married. A divorce needs the other person's agreement. A widow or widower is shown with care. Marital status is private.
MORE FOR YOUR FAMILY
• Family page for your whole family name, with its history and photos.
• Matrimony inside your wider family: biodata and matches from relatives, nearest relation first.
• Emergency SOS to close family and relatives in your city.
• Find relatives in another city, college or company. Only people who choose to answer are shown.
• Forgotten family: KnoBee suggests when two family trees share an ancestor. Nothing merges without approval.
• Try the demo family before you sign up.
PRIVACY FIRST
Your mobile number is never shown to anyone. Choose a private profile to show only your name and photo. Your location is used only when you send an SOS. You can delete your account at any time.
