Learn to code with interactive, hands-on coding labs you can run right on your iPhone or iPad—no setup, no internet required. Tinkerstellar pairs bite-sized tutorials with an on-device Python IDE, so you can practice with real data, libraries, and APIs while you learn.
Start from Python basics (syntax, variables, functions, loops) and progress to practical topics like data analysis, data visualization, web scraping, HTTP/networking, XML/JSON parsing, and machine learning—all at your own pace.
What you’ll do with Tinkerstellar
• Follow step-by-step, self-paced labs with instant feedback
• Run real Python code in a built-in editor that works like a mobile IDE
• Work on practical, real-world projects using real datasets and APIs
• Explore advanced topics gradually, with clear explanations and examples
• Learn anywhere: labs are fully pre-configured and work offline
Why it’s different
• All-in-one environment—no Python install, no configuration, no extra apps

The lessons are compact and easy to digest, and the interactive exercises make learning engaging and effective—all directly on your device, even offline.
If you want a practical way to learn Python programming, practice coding, and build confidence with tools used in data science, automation, and more, Tinkerstellar is for you.
Wonderfully designed. Easy to understand format and instructions. Very easy to follow with examples and explanations. Highly recommend! Some classes cost a little money, none that I have seen cost more than $2.99. That $2.99 gets you a full course of classes that instructs you on entire concepts within and about python coding. Companies need to make a little money for what they create and for the quality of this product I think the price that they are asking for, for these courses, is incredibly cheap.
Fantastic

I can’t believe this is free. I already previously purchased the developers Juno Apps which I can recommend highly. If I could make one recommendation > it would be nice if the lessons would allow highlighting similar to iBooks.
Excellent for the beginner or the prodigal programmer

I’m using Tinkerstellar to relearn Python as I’m going into graduate school, and so far it has proven to be an absolutely invaluable resource. Tutorials are lucid and clear, and the breadth of topics available is astounding. Absolutely worth the time and money.
Crashes in iPadOS 18 (fixed)
Jaync2022
The app is a very good source to learn Python offline. However it starts crashing at the launch since IPadOS 18. The fix is to uninstall the app completely, then reinstall it.
Developer Response
This likely happens because of restoring from backup—please, delete the app from device and reinstall again from the App Store. This will be fixed in the next release; apologies for inconvenience meanwhile. 😔
Bug fixes, stability improvements and updates to coding labs content.
