    For many years, I have struggled with different applications in transferring videos. Some that compress the file and compromise its final quality. Thus far I am loving this application – we have used it now for slightly over a week and all of our finished products are crystal clear in addition to remaining high-quality. we also love the ability to encrypt video with a password for those that will end up receiving and downloading it. I also am in love with the fact that we can a lot is certain timeframe before. The video itself expires. I no longer have to have tons of videos on my iPhone.

    The interface itself is extremely basic, there’s hardly any options. The much bigger issue is the fact that unless you’re sending an email directly to someone, there is no designation as to where this “transfer” is going. It seems as though it’s just packaged together to eventually send as a transfer and kept in a “transferred” section without being transferred to anyone yet (which is extremely confusing), despite the fact it goes through this whole active process of “transferring” as if to another device. To make it more confusing, even though the “transfers” that have not been transferred anywhere are automatically saved in the “transferred” section, there’s a whole other option to store “saved” transfers. Basically it looks and behaves like a 5 year old created this app.

  • What happened to auto-view?

    I loooove wetransfer. It took me so long to find something like wetransfer to send my files and it’s really the best. But what happened to the auto-view for videos? I used to be able to send a link and if you long pressed it and opened it in chrome it would just start playing automatically. Now it makes you wait to download the video before viewing which for some people is a huge hassle. I’m having more people request Dropbox view links now as well so they don’t have to download. Hopefully u can bring this feature back? Otherwise I love wetransfer and I use it every day, several times a day! Would love to see this feature return.

  • Best App for the Money

    I record footage for a wedding band. OPOV Band…look us up in Facebook and instagram, I send the footage via We Transfer after every gig to our content editor. I sent 6.11gb of footage this morning, combinations of video and pictures, and it took less than 10 minutes, connected to a wifi connection, and the footage is available for 1yr, I love this. This is must have app for anyone that needs send anything larger than a text message or email will allow. Thank you We Transfer, you guys rock. 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽💯💯💯

  • Great however Needs work would like to see Group emailing

    It’s great that we transfer has an app, I use the web based all the time on my phone . However when sending a file to multiple people I would have to enter the emails manually. Good thing the web based version save a history of the emails you send to so you will only have to enter a few letters . I believe adding a group to send to multiple emails would save me a lot of time , I normally send about 18-25 emails . So by adding group emailing I would just click on the group I wish to email and bam! Done ! We transfer please consider thank you

  • Terrible Now

    Their new greedy update has made it impossible to consistently use the app without purchasing the premium app plan. They sneakily removed file sending time to 3 days instead of seven so you are forced to reupload links much sooner if you want to send them. And then they significantly reduced the amount of links you can send based on MG/GB as to force you to buy premium. I once bought premium of my own choice not because these greedy corporate giants tried to force me into it by making their product worse to force me into it. I wil certainly never be using the platform ever again or until they change things back to the way they were. The nerve to make your app worse then increase the premium cost. You will NOT be getting my money.

  • Depends on the day….

    It’s my preferred transfer method. I typically send 2-4 minute videos downloaded to files in iOS or dropbox. I’m never sure which wetransfer will work, from the site or the app - usually the site is fine and the transfer is done in a decent amount of time. I rarely use the app and this might be why - it failed multiple times to load until finally it sent today but took 4 minutes. WeTransfer is typically so helpful and easy to use - not sure if this is an app thing?

  • Best tool in sending Files

    ‘We Transfer’ is by far one of the greatest ways of sending important documents: audio, video, all sorts of files. Without a doubt if you have not tried this subscription. You need to ASAP. I have used this platform for over 8years now and have not had 1 issue! hands down use WeTransfer they are the best whenever it comes to meeting your deadline as well as your bottom line trust them, they are the real deal.

  • Wouldn’t restore my purchases

    I canceled my subscription and renewed my subscription and after testing out another source, renewed for a weekly amount( tried $8.99, $9.99, and the $2.99 option, all glitched when I hit “restore purchases” then still would’t update. I tried logging out, I tried deleting the app, I tried deleting the WeTransfer account and signing up with a new email, nothing worked. I them had to email my client 3 times from different emails to send the gallery over. This is beyond frustrating and I will not go back to using WeTransfer ever. I would think after spending $500+ on an account over multiple years this app would allow me to restore my purchases +send out albums.

  • App crashes

    The web site works fine, but the latest version of the app has crashed multiple times today trying to scroll down on the Files Received screen as previews of every audio and video document ever received took their sweet time loading. Can’t say if this is new, since I use the web site mostly, but don’t recall it happening from the few times on the app before today.
