Helitracking
Communication hélicoptère
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Access to the application requires a customer code. You can get a temporary code to test the system and validate if it meets your need.
HELITRACKING allows helicopters on mission to communicate using three communication channels: 3G, Satellite Iridium, or Gotenna short range radio. The objective is to replace the radio communication between the command center, the helicopter, and the people on the ground, when the radio link is not available.
The command center has a global view of all its helicopters, their position, their trajectory, and can communicate with them through a chat window. They can exchange text, images, geographic markers, predefined messages ...
The interface is personalized for each client: we get in touch with your operators, and create a "tailor-made" graphic interface, dedicated to your missions. This ensures that you have an application that perfectly meets your needs.
The satellite communication interface is very efficient, with messages sent back every 20 seconds, thus allowing a dialogue in almost real time between the helicopter and the operational center: this allows the helicopter to remain in permanent contact even at the helicopter. above the sea, in the desert, in the middle of the mountains ... when there is no longer any working means of communication. Contact us for more information on the satellite version.
The system does not require any helicopter modification, it is plug and play, even in its satellite version: it is installed in 5 minutes before the mission and does not require any training.

4.4.0 06/26/2025
This version fixes a few bugs:
- In an aircraft group, the aircraft name could be incorrect if the mission is relaunched from the same tablet and the name is changed just after the initial launch.
- We've improved the display of the "Offline" message so that it only appears after 30 seconds of connection interruption. This prevents the message from showing up during brief disconnections.
- Improved auto-scrolling in the ChatArea.
- When manually moving the map, if the aircraft's position was updated while the pilot was dragging the map, it could cause an unwanted recentering on the aircraft's position.

3.4.1 11/27/2024
This version includes some important updates:
To notify you more effectively of the arrival of a new message, we have implemented an automatic notification repeat feature: when you are notified of a new message, this notification will repeat every 30 seconds, which will turn on the iPad screen to alert you. The repetition will stop as soon as you have viewed the new message. You can adjust this frequency in the app settings, for example, to repeat every 10 seconds, 20 seconds, etc. You can also disable this repetition.
We have improved offline map management, with better detection and handling of tile loading errors. NOTE: you will need to reload your offline maps after this update.
We have integrated message and proximity alert notifications on most smartwatches (you will still need to install and configure the app corresponding to your watch brand).
We have added a setting to adjust the frequency of positions sent via satellite. By default, this frequency is set to 2 minutes; you can choose between 30 seconds, 2 minutes, or 5 minutes. This allows you to reduce satellite communication costs.
We have improved the handling of areas without network coverage, allowing for faster reconnection.
We have enhanced the management of proximity alerts and removed "ghost" alerts.
We have improved the graphical interface for taking photos in landscape mode.
On the map, when you zoom in, we maintain the map's orientation. So, if you are oriented north, the North orientation will remain during the zoom.

Change of minimum zoom level during the initial map display
Improved sunset accuracy
Geolocation of photos downloaded from the library
