I’m running my first campaign right now and still feeling out what works best for me in terms of prep and world building but this app is insanely useful for the way I like to build things out. The name generators are great but even beyond that the other generators help make shops quickly and give great ideas for locations and events that can then be expanded on. I think something that could be great to see in the future is an option to make folders for saved items. This would make it nice for building larger locations with everything you need in that area all in one place, but even without that kind of organization option the app is great and I’m exciting to keep using it!

This app gives you instant names for NPCs, cities, shops, items, food, and more. Some descriptions even go much further, providing personality traits and such. But I think my favorite feature is the ability to add your own generators. If you’re willing to put in the time, you could use this app to generate entire dungeon rooms, generate dragons, spells, or just rework some of the existing generators to give you names that better fit your world. Kinda crazy that this is free

A wide variety of topics with a good database from which it draws. The single thing I’d love seeing added is a way to add specific things to the database from which it draws (for example, adding the general item of “tinderbox” which can then be in mundane items or enchanted items), but that’s exceptionally wishful thinking on my part for a free app. This does what it says it does and does it very well.

I have used this app for a few months now and I have one thing to say: WOW. Just, WOW! This is the BEST app for DnD that I have found on the App Store! It has dice, character names, events ideas, encounters, npcs, and much more! Not a fan of D&D? I use this app ALL THE TIME for writing stories! It gives you good ideas and names!
