Good little app with a few things that could be improved

This is a good replacement for the Stickies app built into MacOS. It has more functionality when it comes to formatting, with a toolbar appearing directly in the lower portion of the note with lots of options. At the moment, my only two issues are: 1. Why does it take a few seconds for a new note to appear? The nature of a sticky note is that you want it to pop up immediately to store some key information on the fly. Having to wait these few seconds interrupts my workflow and is an annoyance. 2. Why is the keyboard shortcut to delete a note command-D? Why not a little X in the upper corner like every other app on earth? Why not command-shift-delete? Why can’t I customize this to change it to whatever I want? 3. Lastly, I’d love to be able to drop a file onto a note to embed it. This works with images, but how about PDFs, docxs, and others? This would increase the app’s the functionality tenfold.If you fix these two things, this will be a perfect 5-star app. Thanks!

Promising sticky notes

The app is well thought and designed. Just some crucially missing features that I hope the developer considers in the future: 1- keyboard shortcut to quick start a new note. 2-enable right-click on note title to close, float or minimize. 3-add a little pin icon to pin the note (float on top). 4-add a slider for opacity. 5-add emojis picker and emoji bullet point. 5- support widgets. 6-implement more keyboard shortcuts for other actions like change background color, start a todo list, etc. 7- add a central window that shows a list of all notes with the option to show and hide notes (like windows sticky notes). 8- add the ability to group notes together by a certain container/tag/folder. 9-iCloud sync is missing. 10-import / export a backup of all notes at once. I could think of a lot more features and the only reason I wrote this review is because this app is really well executed and coded.

Toolbar is a nuisance but overall a good app

Serves its purpose relatively well. I like using small stickies to take up less space on my screen. I do find it a bit irritating that the toolbar takes up a lot of space when you go to type into a small stickie and I find it inconvenient. It’s not a dealbreaker but I do wish there was a way for them to update their toolbar so that is was not as disruptive as it is when you are working inside of a small sticky. My workaround is to temporarily enlarge it when typing in a small sticky but that does create an extra step in my workflow

I like the stickies app. I love that I can just write on it like a list on my lap top versus the notes. I with you could change the color of the font. Also, I don’t like that if you want it to stay on the desktop you have to do float on top and so when I open another window it’s on top of the window I have open. Its annoying and I have to disable float on top and remember to enable it again. Someone help me if there’s a way for it to stay on desktop without having to have it cover what im working on.
