I used splitkaro during my MS in US and as a group we found it more useful since we were able to split our bills on a per usage basis. The best part about this app is the ability to create custom categories which brings you a personalized expense analysis by the end of every month. This app is a one stop solution to all the group expenses and I would definitely recommend to all new students planning to start their journey in the US
Best app for sharing expenses

Using this app during my Masters in US. I would say it’s best app for sharing day to day expenses with your roommates. Integration with DoorDash and instacart is such a useful feature when you are ordering groceries for your home. Also found it beneficial to split group-trip expenses. I have always preferred using in-app group chat for expense-related discussions rather than discussing it on any other platform. Must try!

Splitkaro is a fantastic app for managing shared expenses. Its clean, intuitive interface makes it easy to track and split costs with friends and family. Trips, made easier
• Add trip dates when you create a group, or later from the trip overview. Any member can set them now.
• A new trip timeline shows where you are in the trip.
• Pool money: collect a shared fund for the group and spend from it.
• Trip groups can now set up auto-tracking expenses, set rules & the transactions go to the trip group directly.
Groups
• Archive groups you've finished with to keep your list clean.
• Adding members is simpler. In Business groups, you choose each new member's role as you add them.

• The Bills page is redesigned. Drafts now come first, so you can review auto-tracked expenses quickly.
