Something I wish I had when I was recruited
I am now playing at Nebraska for football and heard of this app and wow I wish I had this when I was in High School. With AllAthlete it would’ve been so much easier to reach out to coaches with my testings and my measurements.
The searching engine has a great user interface that no other recruiting app has that allows recruits to post measurements, follow other athletes in their journey, search schools, and join communities to talk about the sports you love.
A great app!
Bad Customer Service and Poorly Designed app
I am trying to expand myself to different apps and show my self to other coaches, I downloaded this app thinking it would help but in reality, it is a very poorly made and rather confusing app. For starters, you can’t upload videos from Hudl, without the quality hitting rock bottom, and this app is very football orientated, making hard for other sports to put tags in their highlights, luckily they had some for lacrosse. However after realizing this app didn’t really work, I chose to begin the process of deleting my account. Unfortunately I can’t, I don’t know if it’s because I signed up with my phone number instead of email, but it wouldn’t let me delete my own account nor deactivate it. This persisted even though I Changed my accounts password 3 times, I then went to call AllAthlete which led me to a road block, they hung up on me 3 times.
In all honesty, this app has so much potential if it wasn’t for the fact it was made so poorly.
Age Accessibility
I would like to believe that this is a great app but when trying to make an account, you can only be in high school or above to sign in. As a person who is in 8th grade I think this app should allow middle schoolers to have access to make an account. I know schools who are scouting kids my age and yet the app won’t let us be seen. I understand the concern about younger students accessing accounts and how they may not be responsible for an app like this but I would like scouts to take a look at my abilities now so they can keep tabs on me later down the road. I think this will benefit the app entirely. I know many middle schoolers who would love to use the app if this was the case. Be open-minded towards the idea. Personally I think a good start would be from 7th grade and up.
