Pay attention:
Since OSX 12 Monterey may turn on the system's AirPlay service by default, if the system AirPlay service is turned on, the Wi-Fi connection of DeviceMirror will not work properly.You need to disable the AirPlay receiver in System Preferences->Sharing->AirPlay Receiver

Took several tries to get it to work via USB cable (had to restart the iPhone, and then the program) but then the iPhone screen popped up and I was happy. I wanted a way to show how my device interacted with our desktop program. This worked like a dream.
