Kutt is a skill-based peer-to-peer (P2P) social betting app that allows friends and strangers to wager directly against each other on the outcome of sports and user-created events. Unlike other betting platforms, on Kutt you always see who you're betting against. So stop letting your friends and social media warriors flake on their bets against you! Kutt's betting platform is a next-level game of skill where you can compete against your friends and other users by correctly predicting the outcome of sporting events and events created by the community. Competition is so much more fun when it's social. On Kutt, everyone has a user profile, so you always know exactly who you are competing against (and can always send that person a personalized message telling them just how much more you know about the game than they do). With detailed record-keeping, Kutt provides a fun way to track your performance against your competitors, and the Leaderboard showcases the users in the community with the best prediction record. Other features that make for a fun experience include: - Kutt's Social Feed shows you what events other people are betting on - Select your favorite teams, and create groups of users who like the same teams - The ability to create your own bet and your own odds if you don't like what you're seeing from the community Kutt is… Social. Kutt is… Competition. Kutt is… FUN. Join the Kutt community today for the most fun you can possibly have with friends and other sports fans. Must be 18+ to play. Deposit with card, Apple Pay, or Cash App Pay. Ownership Change

This is James Tice - the previous CTO of Kutt. We made several announcements and sent dozens of notifications, including email and in-app, notifying users about an ownership change. In case you haven’t seen them, I want to be clear that Kutt was bought by Bitcoin Depot, who then sold it to another company during their bankruptcy process. If you’re having any trouble with functionality, please contact the new owners through the channels they’ve set up. Sim and I have not had access to, control over, or involvement with Kutt since it was bought from Bitcoin Depot months ago. If you had deposited money before the acquisition and didn’t withdraw your funds before the deadline that was announced, please check your email for an email from Kroll as soon as possible. It contains instructions on how to have your balance sent to you by the Bitcoin Depot liquidation trust. The deadline for that is coming up soon - and I urge you to do this as soon as possible so you can receive your funds. We’re no longer involved, and I’m only sharing this here to ensure everyone is aware of the ownership changes and who to contact.

I initially enjoyed using Kutt, but I recently had an experience that changed my perspective. I placed a money-line bet on the Houston Rockets vs. Brooklyn Nets, and my bet remained open for hours before the game started. However, right before the game began, Kutt voided my bet because no one had accepted it. While I understand that unmatched bets must be canceled, I found it misleading that the bet remained open for so long, making it feel as though it had been placed. The frustration came when the Brooklyn Nets won, and instead of receiving my expected payout, my original wager was simply returned. This made it seem as if the bet never occurred. I believe this process should be communicated more clearly to avoid confusion for users. Additionally, Kutt advertises itself as a betting platform but states that it cannot legally accept bets because it is not the house. While I understand the peer-to-peer model, some aspects of the platform's operation feel unclear, and it seems there is little recourse for users if something is wrong. For those considering Kutt, I would recommend being aware of these aspects before placing bets. In my experience, other exchanges like Novig and Prophet X provide a more straightforward process. I hope Kutt takes this feedback into account to improve transparency and the overall user experience.

That's not how P2P works. In order for your bet to be active, it has to be accepted. You had a bet that was not accepted, and therefore it was voided. That is the entire crux of Peer-to-Peer/exchange model like us. On the Games page, it CLEARLY states (in red): "If your public bet is not taken by another user before the start of the event, your bet is automatically canceled and your funds will be returned to your wallet."We state this multiple times across the platform....not sure how much clearer we can be. There is nothing misleading (or bad) about this action. Not all public bets get accepted. The app functions the way it is supposed to. Legally we cannot (and do not) accept user bets. We explained this quite nicely over several email conversations with you and yet here we are.

Really hard to withdraw your money

The concept of the app is fine: you bet against other players, but it’s really hard to withdraw your money. They were able to take a deposit using my bank card but they can’t give me money using my bank card. It’s ACH only using routing/acct number. Only problem with that is, it won’t accept any of my banks. I’ve tried three and it says it can’t accept any of them. So, I don’t have any way of getting my money out. I’m going to try to use my daughters acct because she has a brick and mortar bank. Maybe that’s the only kind they use 🤷🏻‍♀️. Regardless, they should do something that allows the use of any bank.**Responding to their responseI’ve read some of your responses to negative comments and you blame the company YOU chose to handle monetary transactions. YOU made the decision to use this company. There are many companies that provide this service. Many of whom offer multiple ways to deposit and withdraw. You also respond to negative comments in a very unprofessional manner. You are very snarky almost as if you’re a teenager. Perhaps you should find someone else who can respond in a more professional manner, as well as, take the time to look into their concerns and possibly fix the issue. Again, there are many companies that offer more options. Regardless, at this point, I don’t care what you do. I was able to have the money transferred to my daughters bank acct and I will not be using your app again. I would’ve been willing to wait some time until you were able to find a payment processor that had better options but your horrible attitude has turned me off to using it altogether no matter what you do.

We inform users several times, and across several locations, that the only way to currently withdraw your money is via ACH. That's always been the case and we're very open about that. Every user has access to our Deposits and Withdrawal Summary that we include in our "Welcome Email." Furthermore, we do not prevent any withdrawals ourselves; withdrawals are blocked by our payments provider for a variety of reasons (declines, mismatched names, etc.). Your issue is with them, not us. It's not easy for a startup company to just snap our fingers and get new withdrawal methods. There's nothing unprofessional about our responses to negative comments. We work extremely hard to provide the best possible experience, and always do right by our customers - so it's extremely frustrating when we get publicly blamed for something that is out of our control and could have been prevented with a simple email. 99% of users have no issues with deposits or withdrawals, so it doesn't make sense for us to change providers. If you'd like to continue this conversation offline, feel free to email support@kutt.com.

In a time where social gaming is growing in popularity. It’s the traditional Sportsbooks being placed on notice. You’ll want to avoid getting Kutt out by the hefty juice that traditional Sportsbooks charge you…and all for what? By waging on the growing number of events that Kutt is offering; you can pick and choose what action you want to get down without worrying about getting your account limited or nuked. Plus, you don’t have to unnecessarily give those greedy big books more dough simply for taking the same action that you get from Kutt. The choice is yours if you want to take a bigger Kutt home.
