iGetGroceries is your standard shopping list app with a few extra features to help simplify your (grocery) shopping experience.
- create lists by assigning grocery items to stores.
- view how many items are needed in each store at a glance.
- easily mark an item as purchased with a single tap.
- organize groceries into specific categories.
- add custom recipes.
- manage ingredient amounts within each recipe.
- share/sync all lists with family/friends/roommates in real time.
That's all the standard features. The 'extras' include:
- easily scale ingredient amounts for recipes.
- view which recipes a grocery item belongs to while shopping.
- mark items as 'One-Time Purchase' to automatically delete them from your list once purchased.
- add all ingredients from a recipe to your shopping lists with a single tap.
The first time you make a recipe, it's often easy to add all ingredients to your shopping lists. However, the second or third time it's easy to forget an ingredient (or three). That's where iGetGroceries comes in handy. Anytime you would like to go shopping for a recipe, just tap 'Checkout' on the recipe to add all of its ingredients to their respective shopping lists.
And while you are shopping, you can easily check which recipes a grocery item belongs to so you can always be sure you get the appropriate amounts.
No more second trips to the store for that ingredient you forgot!

• Show items from other stores
Tap the new toggle on any store's list to reveal everything else you need, including items you haven't assigned a store yet. They appear smaller and faded beneath your current list, grouped by store, so they never get in the way of what you're actually buying.
• Move items between stores with a swipe
Realized an item is cheaper somewhere else? Swipe it to add it to the store you're in, or take it off the list. We'll always confirm before anything moves.
• Collapse categories you don't need
Tap any category header to fold it away. It'll stay that way next time you shop.
