Our app suggests articles based on what you’re reading - that aim to broaden and deepen your understanding. Instead of send you down the rabbit hole and reinforce your biases, we aim to help you read about new topics, from multiple perspectives, and across more geographies.
Our app also gives you an analysis of what you’re reading, and helps you set weekly goals to improve. We measure what you read on our app, and you can also share articles from other apps to AverPoint - like sharing a link to Twitter. Our app also integrates with our browser extension, which can measure what you read in the background.
As you advance in AverPoint, we introduce our “credibility layer” - which encourages you to participate as you read. You can question claims, see the author’s underlying evidence, and request expert reviews.

This is a great App for people who want to be connected with the National and International news especially now during the pandemic as well as the frightening consequences of climate change besides the threatening situation of the American political scenario! Generally, news seems to depress me, however, this App has remarkably increased my enthusiasm to be in touch with a variety of news items internationally. It is something to look forward every day.

AverPoint motivates me to think before I read - and consciously spend my time reading better sources, topics, and places. My phone feeds me all kinds of distractions, but this app wants me to be informed. I like the news analytics and suggestions, and eventually the critical thinking tools. I also like the spirit of empowering the individual to resist disinformation.
