A gentle way to end your listening We’ve added a sleep timer. You can now set how many minutes should pass before playback stops – helpful when you’re falling asleep with the Bible or simply want a moment of silence after listening. We’ve also fixed some bugs to make the app feel even more steady and peaceful in everyday use.

We’ve made it easier to pick up right where you left off. Links that lead to a specific chapter should now open that exact place and start playing right away — without double tapping or jumping around. We also improved how titles are shown in collections and cleaned up parts of the navigation so everything feels clearer. On top of that, we fixed a few issues that could stop the app when starting up or while downloading audio.

We improved background playback stability so the Word can accompany you at any moment—including when the screen is off or you’re using other apps. We also refined minor interface elements and fixed issues that interfered with smooth listening.

Listening to the Word – now also on the road With Apple CarPlay support, you can now listen to the Bible in your car – without needing to reach for your phone. A quieter, safer way to stay close to the Word, even while traveling. We’ve also improved how the app works in the background. Playback should now continue smoothly when the screen is off or when switching to other apps.

Listening to the Bible – calmer and without interruptions On some iOS devices, logging in via Facebook didn’t work. We’ve managed to fix it. If you use this login method, everything should now work as it should. You’ll now see your email address and app version in the settings. It’s a small change, but helpful if you ever need support or want to contact us. And when you do contact us, the app will automatically include some useful details – such as your email, device model, and app version – so we can reply quickly, accurately, and with care.

Listen the way that suits you best From now on, the app will remember the playback speed you choose. Whether you prefer a calm pace or something a bit faster – you can be yourself. We’ve fixed a troubling issue Sometimes, even with an active subscription, a payment screen would appear. We’ve made changes to reduce these occurrences. We’re staying alert and will continue monitoring this closely. And as always – a bit of housekeeping in the background Minor fixes make everything run more quietly, smoothly, and calmly.
