In March of 2025 Apple ended support for iOS16. This has consequences for the Xelion iOS App from version 9.6.1: • The app is now only tested on iOS17 and newer. • Technical issues that occur on iOS16 devices are no longer addressed. • Older app versions that are iOS16-compatible, are no longer maintained. Fixed: • When user enters an incorrect phone number while logging in with SMS, the user can now log in with a password instead. • The indicator for missed communication now works correctly.

With in March of 2025, Apple ended its support for iOS16. As a result, after this version Xelion: • only releases apps tested on iOS17 and above; • no longer resolves technical issues if they occur on iOS16 devices; • ends maintenance on app versions that are iOS16-compatible." New: • Users can now see all contacts in the ‘Contacts’ overview. • Users can view highlights of a new Xelion release in the ‘What’s New’ slides. • Users can now long press on the keys in the ‘Keys’ overview to paste a number. With Apple CarPlay: • You can call and search with Siri while the app is open or in the background. • When opening a contact in CarPlay, the call button would disappear (iOS 26.2+).
