I love this game. Omg I play every day. I would love if when we get to the end of a level like when we’ve ‘taken’ over all the planets, we could work on making the layout as efficient as possible and maybe it gives us a boost on the next level if we can figure out the highest efficiency of a level/map. This last part could totally be skippable too, like you can opt out of the efficiency scene/part of the level.

This is a game that’s major addictive, though it has some HUGE flaws. The first and worst is the absolute bombardment with ads - at least one inescapable “forced” ad at the end of every level, then an optional (but you can’t collect any of the bonuses unless you choose to put up with another ad) one to collect any bonus earned. And worse, the ads commit the ultimate unforgivable sin: they commandeer whatever you’re listening to. Absolutely intolerable to me. I don’t allow ANY app, for ANY reason, to interrupt what I’m listening to. Meddle with my audio, and get deleted - it’s the fabled “automatic”. Worse, once the ad (far too often with an “ear-rape” volume level, crappy music and/or sound effects, or all if the above) finishes and permits me to listen to my choice of audio again, the volume is dialed down so low as to be barely audible.Other problems include the fact that it burns battery like there’s no tomorrow, even when playing while plugged in, and causes insane heating of my iPhone 7+ - very nearly to the point where it’s unpleasant to hold the phone. Add the crashes that I’ve had while running it, and the fact that it bollixes up the “Books” app - sometimes causing it to crash when it takes over the audio to play an ad, sometimes apparently causing it to jump to a random point in the audiobook that was playing - and I can’t give this steaming pile of a game any better than a low 1-star rating. A shame, since the actual game play is pretty darn good. Unfortunately, the problems that come from relying on ads totally bury the good points.

Ads are *more* than a constant nuisance, they're all horrible and silence whatever you have already playing; and they also are pretty much a required part of the game if you don't want to pay any money. Don't worry though, you can pay to get rid of them. They'll give you a commander that uses "energy"—which is 1 of 3 in-game currencies, one that you can BUY—in exchange for neat abilities that you can use in VS mode! Don't worry, you can pay to get more energy for abilities AND commanders! Ships can be exchanged to make your ships in between planets stronger! Don't worry! You can "PAY" to get them! Oh wait a minute though. Even if you pay, there's no guarantee you'll get anything. I had to refund like $2.98 worth of unreceived stuff, since I got frustrated and tried buying something despite my reluctance. Too bad the devs of this game proved my reluctance to shell out any $$$ was more than valid, 'cause I *was* having a some fun with their game and their game didn't give me what I paid for :c

I’ve played this game a lot, it while it was once tons of fun, it’s now just your typical ad riddled game.1) You can pay to remove the forced ads. It’s reasonably cheap. There are still “voluntary” ads even if you pay.2) The only way to actually make progress in the game is to watch the “voluntary” ads, because the in-game currency is given at such low amounts you are more or less required to watch them to get the multiplier. Shame on developers that offer ad removal but then force it upon you after you’ve paid with soft walls.3) They have added in multiple new levels that are impossible to beat without power ups. It used to be maybe 1/20 levels were like that, and not it seems closer to 10/20. The only way to get powers ups is, you guessed it, ads. You can pay for in game currency as well. You simply can’t earn enough in game currency without the ad multiplier to have enough to buy the power-ups.4) In short, despite paying to remove ads you still must watch them. You can’t get power ups without watching ads, because you can’t earn currency without beating levels, which you can’t beat without powers ups, which require watching ads.It’s a bummer because the game is fun excluding it. At least make a remove ALL ads available.
