This is probably good software, but since it comes with no documentation that I can find, I really can’t test for myself. I have tried the online support videos but they are both outdated and lacking. I realize that the software is rather new and that new features are being added constantly, but at the same time users need to know what features are available and how to use the features. I have had instrument for a number of days now and am still in discovery mode and struggling with how to make things work. Developers - documentation is necessary- in my world you don’t release software until the documentation is available

Unfortunately most people only take time to write negative reviews. My experience with this app has been nothing short of wonderful. I think the concepts and ideas integrated into this app are cutting edge and extremely helpful to me as a musician. Here’s why:1. Stores all your song ideas in one quick and easy location2. Networks you with other musicians and guitarists around the world 3. Perfect for drawing inspiration and ideas from others 4. I can tweak and fine tune all my song ideas because they are constantly with me one click away on the app so I can constantly change, update and fine tune my creations to perfection 5. Great for all levels of musicians from beginner to expert I had no problems getting things set up with the app or uploading anything I have found it quite simple and straightforward. The developers on there were also quick to ask me for any suggestions or recommendations to improve the app and experience bringing each user into the process and making us feel important and valued. They really do want to make the experience and app as good and enjoyable as possible for each and every user. I’m happy to have found this company and the LAVA guitars and I’m excited and hopeful that they’ll thrive for years because as much fun as I’m having with it, I plan on sticking with them for years to come. This guitar has potential but the app is terrible. I bought a me3 but its features don’t work without the app…at all. Too, it took me multiple install/delete reinstall/delete attempts before the app worked/would synced. Try finding a link for customer support on Lava’s website…none there. I did a google search to find it and once I did and them emailing the company multiple times asking for help insofar as syncing the app and guitar, they never responded…ever. Terrible customer service…more like nonexistent.. There is no North America support of any kind. I spent $1000 on a guitar and can’t use ANY of the guitar’s electronics/it’s advertised features without first registering (give personal data - where you live etc) with a non-responsive company in China…why? I just selected Afghanistan cuz it should be up to me to divulge personal data.

LAVA ME air update required - App Devs fixed it in a few days

I got this guitar for Christmas. It had a full charge, yet it said it needed to charge and was low. It then said it required an update, but it won’t update. I tried on both iPhone and MacOS. There was no way to manually or forcefully check for updates.The LAVA devs responded a few days later and released a patch that fixed it. I kept the guitar, adjusted the action, now it plays and sounds great with the built in speakerThanks again guys!
